SANCTITY OF LIFE
Abortionist: ‘God Performs Way More Abortions than I Do’
January 3, 2019 — Breitbart.com reports: “In the midst of an ongoing Twitter war, an American abortionist said that God performs ‘way more’ abortions than she does, suggesting that miscarriages are God’s abortions.
Responding to a Twitter comment last week wondering aloud of what ‘God thinks’ of her profession, Utah abortionist Leah Torres said, ‘God performs way more abortions than I do, so there’s that.’
Attributing every natural death to God’s direct intervention could seem a bit much, and numerous social media users took issue with Dr. Torres’ logic. It would seem to suggest — some argued — that anyone who kills another human being at any time is doing no more than God does when people die of cancer or heart failure.
Dr. Torres is vocal in her defense of abortion as healthcare, even when it is used as birth control, and feels no need to apologize for what she does.
‘Abortion is used as birth prevention. I feel fine about that,’ she tweeted last week…” (While it is true that a pregnancy loss is known in the medical world as a ‘spontaneous abortion’ it has nothing to do with induced abortion. This woman is not God, He alone dictates life’s order of events: “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace” – Ecclesiastes 3:1-8. “See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand”– Deuteronomy 32:39. “The Lord killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up” – I Samuel 2:6.)
Planned Parenthood chief: ‘Health care’ is NOT Job 1
January 9, 2019 — WND.com reports: “Planned Parenthood for years has characterized its work as ‘health care.’
In one statement posted online, it says ‘compassionate staff at Planned Parenthood are experts in women’s health care.’
‘We provide essential reproductive and sexual health services like pelvic exams, Pap tests, cancer screenings, and testing and treatment for vaginal infections.’
It also says that through ‘our health centers across the U.S., inclusive, medically accurate sex education programs, and tireless efforts to defend people’s right to access quality, affordable health care, Planned Parenthood is working to create the healthiest generation ever — both at home in the United States and around the globe.’
And Planned Parenthood ‘is one of the nation’s leading providers of high-quality, affordable health care for women, men, and young people, and the nation’s largest provider of sex education. We offer quality health care, backed by medical experts and over 100 years of research in reproductive care.’
But it’s real mission? Abortion.
That’s according to the organization’s new president…” (According to the Guttmacher Institute: “During 2010–2014, an estimated 56 million induced abortions occurred each year worldwide. This number represents an increase from 50 million annually during 1990–1994, mainly because of population growth.” Keeping it at that estimate, there have been over 448 million induced abortions worldwide since 2010. The population of the United States in 2018 was 327.16 million. The New York State legislature has just put into place one of the most radical abortion laws in the United States – allowing abortions through the third trimester, including up to birth. It also prevents pregnant women whose babies are killed in an attack on the mother from seeking justice. God said in Exodus 21:22-25: “If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman’s husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life, Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.” In other words, if a woman give birth prematurely – but the baby survives – then the attacker would be punished as the husband and judge determines. However, if mischief follows, or the baby dies, then it would be life for life.)
