WND.com reports: “Shariah law is famous for making headlines in the West over its penalties, such as beheadings and amputations; its treatment of women and the violence that is allowed, and its relegation to those who follow other faiths to a subservient status.

Now, it seems, there’s a new move to expand its influence in the United States, with a weekend conference in Hartford, Conn., on ‘Understanding Shariah’ and ‘how to apply Shariah in a society where most people are not of the same faith.’

The conference is being assembled by the Islamic Circle of North America, which earlier was revealed through a campaign by Stop Islamization of Nations, to be trying to ‘mainstream Shariah.’

Officials say they expect some 15,000 to attend the events at the 37th annual ICNA convention…” (Shariah Law is the most ungodly and undemocratic piece of legislation any country could ever employ or survive under. Honor killing alone becomes horrendous for Muslim daughters if the law is passed. If a girl has sex and is discovered, her father, brother, or another family member must put her to death. This is murder – Exodus 20:12; Revelation 21:8; 22:15.)

WND.com reports: “Islam expert Robert Spencer has been threatened with death for his new book, ‘Did Muhammad Exist?: An Inquiry into the Obscure Origins of Islam.’

Spencer said the threats issued via the social networking site Twitter are part of the increasing pressure by Muslims to impose Islamic law – which bans criticism of Muhammad – on the free world.

Spencer, director of JihadWatch.org, told WND: ‘This is an increasing tactic on the left, as well as by Muslims. They don’t seem to have any attachment to the principle of freedom of speech.’

Spencer reported that the tweeted threats of beheadings and stabbings came from a Muslim in Australia who goes by ‘Abdulhakim’ on Twitter…” (The difference in Christianity is beautifully expressed in I John 3:16: “Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.”)

Israel National News reports: “Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood is hoping that when the polls open, voters will bring in the era of the Islamic Caliphate.

‘We are seeing the dream of the Islamic Caliphate coming true at the hands of Mohammed Morsi,’ said cleric Safwat Higazy, speaking at a rally for the Brotherhood’s presidential candidate.

The TV preacher vowed from the podium before thousands at the stadium of an industrial city in the Nile Delta, ‘The capital of the Caliphate and the United Arab States is Jerusalem, Allah willing.’

In response, the crowd waved green Brotherhood flags, chanting, ‘The people want to implement Allah’s law.’

Morsi himself said at a rally at Cairo University, ‘We will not accept any alternative to Shari’ah… The Qu’ran is our constitution and it will always be so.’…” (The Muslim Brotherhood Islamic terrorist group is a Jew hating organization. Jerusalem belongs to the Jews mentioned 930 times in God’s Holy Word. Psalm 122:6 states: “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.” It is dangerous to go against God’s chosen people: “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed” – Genesis 12:3.)
