North Korean Tyrant Kim Jong-Un to Execute 33 Christians

March 6, 2014 — Breitbart.com reports: “Kim Jong-un, the supreme leader of North Korea, has called for the execution of 33 people for reportedly working as accomplices to South Korean Baptist missionary Kim Jung-wook and planning to help him create 500 underground churches…

Last October, Kim Jung-wook was arrested and placed in jail for his plan to set up underground churches. Supposedly having received help from South Korea’s intelligence agency, the missionary entered North Korea from China and was heading for Pyongyang.

Part of his plan was to distribute bibles, Christian instructional materials, and movies. Jung-wook supposedly said at the time of his arrest, ‘I was thinking of turning North Korea into a religious country, and destroying its present government and political system.’ In a press conference held last week, he apologized for committing ‘anti-state’ crimes with the hope of being released from the North Korean prison cell where he is being held…” (Great persecution will soon overtake most Christians in a majority of the world. USA Today reported that Christianity is the most hated religion in the world. The next seven reports back this hatred and why. “Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.” – Matthew 5:10 – 12; “If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.” – John 15:18 – 21; “…When he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held.” — Revelation 6:9; “…I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.” – Revelation 20:4; and “Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.” – Revelation 2:10.)

Christian Family Murdered in Alexandria

February 18, 2014 — Israel National News reports: “Four members of a Christian family of Syrian origin living in Alexandria, Egypt, were stabbed to death Monday. A man was seen walking out of their apartment holding a black plastic bag.

The father of the family, 44, who was employed in one of Sharm el-Sheikh’s hotels, was found stabbed in the stomach, the chest and the shoulder. His 35-year-old wife was stabbed in the neck, and so was the husband’s 43-year-old sister. The murderers started a fire in the kitchen, in an apparent attempt to set the entire apartment aflame and destroy evidence.

The large Christian community in Egypt, which numbers about 10 million people, has increasingly been coming under attack from Muslims in the last few years. Many Christians have been murdered and wounded, and over 100 churches, homes and businesses owned by Christians have been attacked, with some being burned down.

The Egyptian regime has blamed the Muslim Brotherhood and other radical Islamist forces for these attacks…”

Seven Egyptian Christians Executed on Libyan Beach

February 26, 2014 — Voice of America News reports: “Seven Egyptian Christians were found fatally shot on a beach in eastern Libya after they were abducted from their apartments, security officials and local residents said, in the second such execution-style killing this year.

Three years after the revolution that ousted Moammer Gadhafi, Libya’s weak government and army is struggling to impose state authority and control brigades of former rebels and Islamist militias in a country awash with weapons.

A police officer told Reuters the bodies were found with gunshots to the head outside Benghazi in the east, where assassinations, kidnappings and car bombs are common and Islamist gunmen are active.

‘They were killed by headshots in execution style,’ a police officer said. ‘We don’t know who killed them.’

Local residents and an Egyptian worker, who asked not to be identified because of fears for their security, said unknown gunmen had arrived at the Benghazi building where the Egyptians lived and dragged them away after going door to door asking if residents were Christian or Muslim.

Security sources confirmed the Egyptians were Christians. No further details were immediately available about how they were killed or whether they were shot on the beach…”

Archbishop testifies on ‘flagrant’ Christian persecution in Middle East

February 12, 2014 — FoxNews.com reports: “In a rare appearance on Capitol Hill by a Vatican representative, Archbishop Francis Chullikatt testified Tuesday before a House subcommittee on the ‘flagrant and widespread persecution’ of Christians in the Middle East.

‘No Christian is exempt, whether or not he or she is Arab,’ Chullikatt said.

Chullikatt was among seven speakers discussing the escalation of threats to Christians. Specifically, testimony focused on underreported assaults, the plight of impacted Christian communities and the need to protect religious freedoms and civil rights.

‘Arab Christians, a small but significant community, find themselves the target of constant harassment for no reason other than their religious faith,’ Chullikatt said.

In Syria alone, there have been reports of kidnappings, Christian communities intentionally displaced by militants, as well as shootings and beheadings of Christians who refused to convert to Islam, according to various news reports from the region…”

Christian persecution continues to rise in China

February 16, 2014 — ChristianToday.com reports: “Christian persecution continues to rise in China, according to the China Aid’s 2013 Persecution Report.

Looking specifically at government persecution of Christians, persecution in China rose by 38.82% between 2012 and 2013.

The level of persecution was based on the number of persecution cases reported, the number of people persecuted, the number of people detained, the number of people sentenced, the number of abuse cases and the number of people abused.

The most dramatic jump is in the number of people persecuted, which rose from 4,919 in 2012 to 7,424 in 2013, an increase of 50.9%.

The only category which saw a drop was the number of abuse cases, which fell 42.9% since 2012.

Persecution in this context ranges from having house churches being ordered to join the state sanctioned Three-Self-Church or being banned from renting space for worship, all the way to having meetings raided, with attendees arrested, beaten, and in some cases imprisoned.

Examples of persecution include a raid on a service involving thousands of members of house churches in Dongying and Linzi in August last year.

The China Aid report also cited evidence of government plans to continue ‘regulating’ house churches…”

16 Christians killed in latest attack in Nigeria

March 7, 2014 — ChristianToday.com reports: “Armed gunmen believed to be Muslim Fulani herdsmen have attacked a cluster of villages in Plateau state, killing 16 Christians and destroying numerous homes, Christian leaders said.

According to a story by Morning Star News, the assailants, reportedly dressed in military camouflage, shot randomly as they struck Torok, Gwon, Gwarim, Gwareng and Rim villages in Rim District of the Riyom Local Government Area west of Jos.

Musa Gunduma Dang of Gwon village said they killed his mother, wife, four children and three other relatives.

‘They shot sporadically and set my house ablaze, killing all members of my family, and the entire village has been destroyed,’ Dang said.

Nigeria: latest Boko Haram attack kills 106

February 18, 2014 — ChristianToday.com reports: “Islamist militants have killed over 100 civilians in the Christian village of Izge, near the border of Cameroon in north-eastern Nigeria, according to reports.

Armed men attacked the remote village on Saturday, slaughtering dozens of innocent people and forcing many others to flee. They also detonated bombs and set fire to homes, terrifying the local community in another string of recent attacks.

Izge, the population of which is largely Christian, has been under emergency rule since May last year when President Goodluck Jonathon authorised increased military powers to tackle ongoing violence in the north-eastern regions of Nigeria. However, there were no military forces present in the village on Saturday.

‘A hundred and six people, including an old woman, have been killed by the attackers,’ confirmed Senator Ali Ndume…”:

Christians left unprotected from Islamic marauders

March 9, 2014 — WND.com reports: “The government of Nigeria is either unable or unwilling to halt attacks against Christians in the northern part of the nation, allowing a level of violence that has cost dozens of lives in just the past few weeks, according to human rights and military analysts.

International Christian Concern analyst Ryan Morgan says it appears there’s not even an attempt to prevent the deaths.

‘It looks as if the Nigerian government is incapable of defending Christian villages from attack. All of the reports we’ve seen of the attacks that took place Tuesday and Wednesday indicate the Fulani herdsmen who attacked were completely unopposed as they shot civilians and burned down scores of homes.’

Experts explain that attack left 16 Christians murdered in a cluster of Christian villages in Plateau state. They were gunned down, and their houses were burned in a wave of violence that even hit at other villagers.

The latest attack follows only days after Islamic terror group Boko Haram attacked a village and killed 29. The attack was just a week after another on a school in which more than 50 students were burned to death.

The three-week Christian casualty toll in Nigeria is nearing the 100 mark, and reports indicate as many as 300 have died since Feb 1…”

Pentagon admits chaplains from Muslim Brotherhood group

March 7, 2014 — WND.com reports: “The U.S. Army and Air Force has selected two Muslim chaplains from a program run by an Islamic group closely tied to the Muslim Brotherhood that was named by the Justice Department as an unindicted co-conspirator in a scheme to raise money for Hamas.

WND broke the story in 2011 that the controversial Islamic Society of North America, or ISNA, is the official endorsing agency for the U.S. Armed Forces Muslim chaplain program.

WND further reported that year that the Muslim chaplain program was founded by a terror-supporting convict, while the Army’s first Islamic chaplain, who is still serving, has been associated with a charity widely accused of serving as an al-Qaida front.

Now, ISNA has announced that two of its former applicants for chaplaincy were selected to serve on active duty in the U.S. Army and Air Force…” (Mr. President are you the Christian you profess to be? I sincerely doubt it according to your interviews in the Chicago Sun Times when you said “I believe there are many ways to heaven…” That blasphemous statement makes our precious Jesus a deceiver and a liar. See John 3:36; John 8:24; John 14:6. 400 times the Bible says Christ is the only way. The only ones who religiously agree with you are Muslims like the chaplains you as the Commander in Chief approved. You also backed President Morsi who crucified Christians in front of the palace. Presently he has been imprisoned as the head of the Brotherhood terrorist organization. Americans are wondering who you really are.)
