Franklin Graham: ‘Islam is a religion of war’

December 7, 2014 — ChristianToday.com reports: “The son of Billy Graham who now heads his father’s evangelistic organization has described Islam as a ‘religion of war’ and urged Christians to attempt to convert Muslims to their own faith.

Franklin Graham, the fourth of Billy Graham’s five children, said he had not softened his stance since he controversially referred to Islam as a ‘very wicked and evil religion’ in the wake of the 9/11 attacks in 2001 that brought down the World Trade Centre in New York.

More recently, he criticized The Episcopal Church’s National Cathedral in Washington for permitting its first Muslim prayer service. On his Facebook page he wrote: ‘It’s sad to see a church open its doors to the worship of anything other than the One True God of the Bible who sent His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to earth to save us from our sins.’

His views contrast with those of the Pope, who on his recent three-day visit to Turkey was moved to pray alongside Grand Mufti Rahmi Yaran in Istanbul’s Blue Mosque. Beside working to build better relations with Muslims, Pope Francis is also reaching out to evangelicals, a move which came about because of his friendship with the late Bishop Tony Palmer, a charismatic of the Communion of Evangelical Episcopal Churches.

Christian children beheaded for refusing to convert to Islam

December 2, 2014 — ChristianToday.com reports: “Four Christian young people chose death rather than forced conversion, according to Canon Andrew White, the Vicar of Baghdad.

In a CBN video released on the Orthodox Christian Network, White – who was ordered to leave Iraq for his own safety by the Archbishop of Canterbury – spoke movingly of the plight of Christians there. Around 250,000 have been displaced by Islamic State in the north of the country, all that remain from the 1,500,000-strong pre-war Christian population.

He said: ‘Things were bad in Baghdad, there were bombs and shootings and our people were being killed, so many of our people fled back to Nineveh, their traditional home. It was safer, but then one day, ISIS – Islamic State. They came in and they hounded all of them out. They killed huge numbers, they chopped their children in half, they chopped their heads off, and they moved north and it was so terrible what happened.’…” (These barbaric monsters who slaughtered four Christian young people destroyed the last of the 300 Chaldean Catholic churches in Iraq. So much for the religion of peace.)

Even Christians who ‘convert’ get beheaded

December 11, 2014 — WND.com reports: “There is no god but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger.’

This is the statement that fighters in ISIS demand of captured Christians if they don’t want to be summarily executed, mostly by beheading.

But now Raymond Ibrahim, writing for the Gatestone Institute, says that if a Christian is captured by ISIS and makes such a profession, they more than likely will be beheaded anyway.

It is a trend that is on the rise among ISIS militants and groups that are swearing allegiance to the Islamic army despite outrage expressed even by al-Qaida leader Ayman al-Zawahiri and some Muslim clerics.

ISIS’ ruthlessness became apparent in a recent example Ibrahim detailed when ISIS fighters cut off the head of a Christian man after compelling him to say the shehada, the Islamic profession of faith to Allah and to Muhammad as his messenger.

Generally, he says, once the shehada is spoken before Muslim witnesses, the speaker becomes Muslim and ‘thus, in theory, safeguards his life and possessions from the jihad.’…” (The Koran kills Christians even if they convert. Their method is crucifixion – Surah 5:33, or beheading – Surah 47:4. Their methodology is with a vengeance during the 7 year period of tribulation after the Rapture. “If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, … blow the trumpet, and warn the people” Ezekiel 33:3. Why? “…I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years” Revelation 20:4.)

 ISIS gets seriously barbaric with penal code

December 18, 2014 — WND.com reports: “Since the rise to prominence of ISIS, the Muslim terror army in Iraq and Syria that boasts of its ‘caliphate,’ it has been accused of stealing $425 million to become the world’s richest terror group.

It also stands accused of terrorizing civilian populations by launching canisters containing live scorpions, releasing a guide to the rape of sex slaves and claiming that a ‘radioactive device’ has been smuggled into Europe.

There also are reports of ISIS crucifying Christians, beheading others, including children, and reducing the Christian community in Iraq, where they have made their homes for millennia, to nearly zero.

‘Pundits and news agencies have reported and questioned the validity that the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or ISIS, is beheading children in its conquests of Syria and Iraq. ISIS Slaughters 150 Females in Iraq for Refusing to Marry, Have Sex with Them

December 18, 2014 — Breitbart.com reports: “Iraq’s Ministry of Human Rights claims the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL) murdered 150 women simply because they refused to marry or perform sexual acts with the terrorists.

‘At least 150 females, including pregnant women, were executed in Fallujah by a militant named Abu Anas Al-Libi after they refused to accept jihad marriage,’ said the Ministry. ‘Many families were also forced to migrate from the province’s northern town of Al-Wafa after hundreds of residents received death threats.’

The militants buried the victims in mass graves in the city. The families who left lost many children after they were stranded in the desert.

The Islamic State slaughtered over 50 people from the Al Bu Nimr tribe in Iraq’s Anbar Province on November 2. The massacre included six women and four children. Witnesses said the militants lined up the victims, whom they ‘publicly killed one by one.’ Over seventeen people were kidnapped, as well. Militants murdered 98 people from the same tribe 24-48 hours before the massacre. Islamic State releases 27 tips on how to rape and punish sex slaves

December 11, 2014 — News.com.au reports: “Islamic State extremists have released a sickening list of 27 tips on raping and punishing sex slaves.

The guidelines are set out as a Q&A explaining how to capture and degrade young women and pre-pubescent girls, and attempting to justify such behaviour through Islamic law.

It insists it is acceptable to have sexual intercourse with non-Muslim slaves, including young girls, and that it is permitted to beat and trade them.

The pamphlet was released by the Research and Fatwa Department of the Islamic State and posted on a pro-IS Twitter account.

It is thought to have been created in response to allegations that IS has kidnapped and enslaved more than 2500 Yazidi women in Syria and Iraq.

The list, published by MEMRI’s jihad and terrorism monitor, claims that al-sabi (slavery) is justified in the case of an ‘unbelieving’ woman…”

ISIS cites Quran to justify child rape

December 9, 2014 — WND.com reports: “After causing an uproar with the taking of ethnic minority Yazidi women and girls as sex slaves in Iraq, the Islamic jihadist group ISIS issued a pamphlet justifying its actions by citing the Muslim holy book, the Quran, and authoritative Islamic scholars.

ISIS, which began calling itself the Islamic State after establishing a caliphate in conquered areas of Syria and Iraq, published the pamphlet through its Research and Fatwa Department.

A translation of the pamphlet was published by the Middle East Media Institute’s Jihad and Terrorism Threat Monitor.

Titled ‘Questions and Answers on Taking Captives and Slaves,’ it states Islam permits conquering Muslim soldiers to have sexual intercourse with non-Muslim slaves, including young girls, and also allows them to be beaten and traded…”
