Xi tells Chinese troops to double down on war prep as Janet Yellen touches down in Beijing
July 7, 2023 — WND.com reports: “Chinese President Xi Jinping instructed the Chinese military to advance war planning and combat preparedness in a tour of the Eastern Theater Command’s headquarters Thursday as U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen touched down in Beijing, state media reported.
Xi ‘stressed efforts to break new ground for theater command development and war preparedness’ after inspecting headquarters for the Peoples’ Liberation Army (PLA) division responsible for potential operations in Taiwan and the East China Sea, according to state-run Xinhua. China’s security situation has become more uncertain as the world enters a new era of instability, he said, requiring the Chinese military to double down on training for war even as U.S. officials in recent weeks have made repeated attempts to repair ties and minimize what Beijing sees as its largest geopolitical threat…” (China will become a basic partner with Russia for the rapidly approaching battle of Armageddon – Revelation 16:16. Russia will lead invasion number one – Ezekiel 38 & 39. China will lead invasion number two – Revelation 16:12; Revelation 9:14 – 16. Then all nations will come against Jerusalem for the final invasion at which point Jesus will return to stop the bloodshed and set up his eternal kingdom upon earth – [He gathers] all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken… Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south – Zechariah 14:2 – 4. Then Psalm 2:6 occurs as God the Father says: …I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion [Jerusalem]. See the next two reports.)
Taiwan Says Chinese Air Force, Navy Stage Mass Drill to Island’s South
July 12, 2023 — Voice of America News reports: “China’s air force and navy staged another large-scale drill involving fighters, bombers and warships to Taiwan’s south and southwest on Tuesday, the island’s defense ministry said, as Beijing keeps up its military pressure on Taipei.
China, which views democratically governed Taiwan as its own territory, has over the past three years regularly sent warplanes into Taiwan’s air defense identification zone, or ADIZ, to try and force the island to accept Chinese sovereignty.
China staged war games around Taiwan last August and again in April, and has since August also regularly flown military aircraft across the median line of the Taiwan Strait, which had previously served as an unofficial barrier between the two.
Taiwan’s defense ministry, in a statement on Wednesday, said that in the past 24 hours it had detected 32 Chinese air force planes entering the island’s ADIZ, a mixture of fighter jets, helicopters and early warning aircraft, among others…”

July 10, 2023 — Voice of America News reports: “North Korea accused the United States on Monday of violating its airspace by conducting surveillance flights and warned that, while Pyongyang was exercising restraint, such flights may be shot down.
Provocative military actions by the U.S. were bringing the Korean peninsula closer to a nuclear conflict, said an unnamed spokesperson of North Korea’s Ministry of National Defense in a statement carried by the official KCNA news agency…
‘There is no guarantee that such a shocking accident as the downing of the U.S. Air Force strategic reconnaissance plane will not happen’ in waters east of Korea, the spokesperson said…” (North Korea marches with Russia and China for the war of the latter years and latter days – Ezekiel 38:8, 16. North Korea fires ‘several cruise missiles’ into sea
July 24, 2023 — SpaceWar.com reports: “North Korea fired ‘several cruise missiles’ into the Yellow Sea between China and the Korean peninsula on Saturday, South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said.
Pyongyang’s latest provocation comes as concern grows over the whereabouts and wellbeing of a US soldier who made an unauthorised dash into North Korean territory earlier this week, with the reclusive regime so far remaining tight-lipped about the incident.
Saturday’s launches are just the latest in a series by Pyongyang, and come as Seoul and Washington ramp up defence cooperation, with relations between the two Koreas nearing an all-time low.
The cruise missile launches took place around 4 am (1900 GMT) on Saturday, Seoul’s military said.
‘South Korean and US intelligence authorities were analysing the launches while monitoring signs of additional activities,’ the JCS said.
North Korea had fired two ballistic missiles into the sea off its opposite coast toward Japan just three days earlier…”
US Sends Another Sub to South Korea, Adding to Show of Force Against North Korea
July 24, 2023 — Voice of America News reports: “A nuclear-propelled U.S. submarine has arrived in South Korea in the second deployment of a major U.S. naval asset to the Korean Peninsula this month, South Korea’s military said Monday, adding to the allies’ show of force to counter North Korean nuclear threats.
The USS Annapolis arrived at a port on Jeju Island about a week after the USS Kentucky docked at the mainland port of Busan.
The Kentucky was the first U.S. nuclear-armed submarine to come to South Korea since the 1980s. North Korea reacted to its arrival by test-firing ballistic and cruise missiles in apparent demonstrations that it could make nuclear strikes against South Korea and deployed U.S. naval vessels.
In between those launches, North Korea’s defense minister issued a veiled threat insisting the Kentucky’s docking in South Korea could be grounds for the North to use a nuclear weapon against it. North Korea has used similar rhetoric before, but the statement underscored how much relations are strained now…”
