Hezbollah chief gloats: Israel had its ‘worst day,’ is on ‘path to disappearance’

July 25, 2023The Times of Israel reports: “The head of the Hezbollah terror group gloated that Israel was on the ‘path to disappearance’ as chaotic demonstrations by opposition activists protesting the passage of the first judicial overhaul law wracked the nation on Monday.

‘Israel was once thought of as a regional power that can’t be beaten, and regional countries accepted its threat as a fact that can’t be removed,’ Hassan Nasrallah said in a televised address marking the seventh day of Muharram, the first month of the Islamic calendar, days ahead of the major Shiite festival of Ashura, according to media reports.

He added that ‘its trust, awareness and self-confidence have deteriorated into the crisis it is experiencing today.’

Nasrallah, whose own country has been mired in years of devastating political bedlam and has seen its own spasms of protests, branded Monday Israel’s ‘worst’ day since the state’s creation.

‘This day, in particular, is the worst day in the history of the entity, as some of its people say. This is what puts it on the path to collapse, fragmentation and disappearance, God willing,’ he said…”  (Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?  The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.  He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.  Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.  Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.  I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.  Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.  Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.  Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.  Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.  Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him. – Psalm 2:1-12.  See the next two reports.)

Hamas leader: ‘We taught Israel a lesson, they were defeated’

July 5, 2023Israel National News reports: “Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh has published an announcement claiming that his terror organization ‘defeated Israel.’

During Israel’s 48-hour operation in Jenin, 12 terrorists were killed and a great deal of terror infrastructure destroyed. One IDF soldier was killed while the forces exited Jenin.

‘Israel failed and was defeated in Jenin, and is now carrying emotions of shame and defeat,’ Haniyeh claimed. ‘We sent a clear message to the enemy, by means of all the sources, that the resistance in all arenas is not far from what is happening in Judea and Samaria, and the enemy must immediately stop the aggression.’…”

IRGC Quds Force commander Qaani says Jenin proves Israel can be beaten – analysis

July 6, 2023The Jerusalem Post reports: “Iran’s Quds Force commander, Esmael Qaani, said that the battle in Jenin this week shows that Palestinian young men are able to confront Israel’s army, even when Israel deploys its best units. He made the comments in a statement that was posted on pro-regime Tasnim News online on Wednesday.

‘Today, we are witnessing that the Zionist regime brought all its forces to the field in the Jenin camp, but the Palestinian youth hit him in the mouth.’ He claims that Palestinians are able to carry out numerous operations against Israel.

Qaani took over the Quds Force, a part of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, in January 2020 after the US killed Qasem Soleimani with a drone strike. He made the comments during the opening of a project in Iran and initially he slammed the US and praised the late commander Soleimani…”

Islamic Jihad: We must use crisis in Israel for war against it

July 24, 2023Israel National News reports: “Nasser Abu Sharif, a member of the Islamic Jihad terror group’s political wing, has called on the Palestinian Arab groups to unite in a war against Israel.

Abu Sharif stressed, ‘The Zionist entity is also facing real crises and suffering from significant internal disagreements. Therefore, the Palestinian nation is facing a new stage, and standing before a historic opportunity which it must utilize for fighting and the conflict for the sake of the Palestinian problem, and to achieve victory and remove the occupation from the Palestinian land.’

Speaking to Al-Quds Radio, which is affiliated with the Islamic Jihad, Abu Sharif said that the Palestinian struggle is continuing and even intensifying in Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem, because the Palestinian people see the struggle as the proper way to fight the Zionist operation which executes policy of ‘Judaizing’ the land…”  (They may threaten Israel, but Psalm 121 states: I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.  My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.  He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.  Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.  The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.  The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.   The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.  The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.  Notice especially verse 4 – Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.  During his confrontation with the prophets of Baal, Elijah mocked the prophets after they were unable to get a response from Baal.  I Kings 18:27 states: And it came to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked them, and said, Cry aloud: for he is a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked.  God does not sleep, and He will preserve Israel.  See the next report.)

Hezbollah-affiliated cleric: Israel’s very existence is an act of war against Lebanon

July 21, 2023Israel National News reports: “Sadek Al-Naboulsi, a Lebanese cleric who is affiliated with Hezbollah, said on a show that aired on Lebanon’s Al-Jadeed TV on July 6 that the very existence of Israel is an act of war against Lebanon.

He said that war with Israel can be the ‘best way’ to change the equation and bring Lebanon out of its political crisis. Al-Naboulsi also said that Hezbollah and the ‘resistance’ should not be ashamed to say that it wants to ‘change the balance of powers in Lebanon and in the region.’

The comments were translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI). ‘The existence of Israel is an act of war against us. It is not Hezbollah that is instigating war. You spoke earlier about the firing of rockets, and so on. The very existence of Israel is an aggression against Lebanon,’ Al-Naboulsi said in the interview…”

Hamas threatens Israel after Jews ascend Temple Mount

July 19, 2023Israel National News reports: “The Palestinian Authority’s official Wafa news agency reported on Tuesday that dozens of ‘settlers’ had ‘invaded’ the Al-Aqsa Mosque under protection of the Israel Police.

According to the report, the Jewish visitors entered the Temple Mount in groups, one after the other, conducted ‘provocative’ tours of the site and held religious worship ceremonies.

Muhammad Hamada, spokesman for Hamas in Jerusalem, said that ‘the insistence of hordes of settlers to continue desecrating the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and to perform religious ceremonies and Talmudic prayers in its courtyards, is dangerous aggression towards and a blatant violation of its sanctity.’

Hamada accused the Israeli authorities of providing protection to the ‘hordes of settlers’ and of securing their ‘invasions’ of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, noting they bear full responsibility for this ‘aggression’…”  (In Genesis 22:1-14 God commanded Abraham to bring his son Isaac to the land of Moriah and offer him as a sacrifice there.  As he was about to complete the sacrifice, God stopped him and provided a ram as a substitutionary sacrifice.  In I Chronicles 21:18 – 26, King David purchased this mount so he could build an altar to offer a sacrifice when he confessed his sin.  This was the location where the angel of the Lord was commanded to stop the destruction of Jerusalem [I Chronicles 21:15].  In II Chronicles 3:1, King Solomon built the First Temple on Mount Moriah, this was started in 966 BC.  This Temple stood until 586 BC when it was destroyed by the Babylonians.  The Second Temple was built in 516 BC and enlarged by Herod the Great in 12 BC.  It stood until it was destroyed by the Romans in AD 70.  The Dome of the Rock was built in AD 692, and the Al Aqsa Mosque was not built until AD 705.  It is obvious who has the rightful claim to the Temple Mount.)
