History repeating itself? Begin to Biden: ‘Don’t threaten us’

March 13, 2024 — Israel National News reports: “The dispute between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Joe Biden over Israel’s plan to enter and engage in military action in Rafah, as part of the war to eradicate Hamas, rekindles a historic meeting between Biden and a former Israeli prime minister, the late Menachem Begin.

At the time several American newspapers described the meeting between the two on June 22, 1982, when Begin appeared before the Senate’s Foreign Relations Committee and was verbally attacked by Senator Biden from Delaware, who threatened him that if he did not accept the US position on the First Lebanon War, the US would stop military aid to Israel.

Begin responded harshly. ‘Don’t threaten us with cutting off your aid. It will not work. I am not a Jew with trembling knees. I am a proud Jew with 3,700 years of civilized history.’

‘Nobody came to our aid when we were dying in the gas chambers and ovens. Nobody came to our aid when we were striving to create our country. We paid for it. We fought for it. We died for it. We will stand by our principles. We will defend them. And, when necessary, we will die for them again, with or without your aid,’ Begin added, leaving Biden speechless…”  (Ours was the first nation to recognize the sovereign state of Israel in 1948, but we have moved further and further away.  God promised to Abraham: “…I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great, and thou shalt be a blessing:  and I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed” – Genesis 12:2, 3. Soon all Hell will break loose in the Middle East. Joel 3:2 warns today’s politicians that World War III occurs because of parting God’s land. It won’t succeed. Report: Biden Trying to ‘Collapse’ Netanyahu Government, Mid-war

March 12, 2024 — Breitbart.com reports: “U.S. President Joe Biden is reportedly attempting to force the ‘collapse’ of the Israeli government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the middle of a war against Hamas terrorists in Gaza and a potential war against Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Biden has been increasingly hostile to Netanyahu in his public remarks, recently saying that Netanyahu is ‘hurting’ Israel more than he is helping it through his conduct of the war. (Netanyahu fired back, saying that Biden was ‘wrong.’)

Now, New York Magazine reports that the Biden Administration is actively looking for ways to force Netanyahu’s right-wing coalition, which has been remarkably unified, to fall apart, which would bring about early elections…”

Half of Israel may come under Hezbollah fire, former Israeli security chief warns

March 18, 2024 — The Jerusalem Post reports: “Israel’s security establishment is continuing to monitor the developments in the North closely. Meanwhile, in the coalition, threats against Hezbollah are becoming more frequent.

After Defense Minister Yoav Gallant warned that ‘the hourglass is about to reverse course,’ ex-MK Moshe Feiglin (Likud) said in a conversation with Gadi Ness on his show on Radio North 104.5FM that ‘Lebanon may be destroyed in the next war.’

In the midst of this, former National Security Council (NSC) chief Uzi Dayan warned in an interview with Ness that ‘we need to be prepared for a rocket attack from Hezbollah that will hit half of the State of Israel.’…”  (They may threaten Israel, but Psalm 121 states: I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.  My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.  He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.  Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.  The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.  The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.   The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.  The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.  See the next report.)

Poll: Majority of Israelis believe war with Hezbollah certain

March 26, 2024 — Israel National News reports: “A majority – 69% – of Israelis strongly believe that a war will soon break out between Israel and Hezbollah on the Lebanon border, according to a new poll by the Israel Democracy Institute.

A significant majority of both Arab and Jewish Israelis believe such a war to be inevitable. The assumption holds true for center, right, and left political blocs, without significant differences between them…”

Iran believes Gaza war will ‘shape new world order’ – analysis

March 26, 2024 — The Jerusalem Post reports: “Iran’s president Ebrahim Raisi believes that the war in Gaza will lead to a ‘transformation in the unjust order that rules the world.’ He made the claims at a gathering on Monday, according to Iran’s pro-government Fars news.

Iran’s president appears to believe that the war in Gaza will accelerate various processes in the global order. He said that after the war the new world order is ‘very close and achievable.’

In Iran’s view the war in Gaza is part of a larger process. It could be seen as a kind of first shot of a major war in the world. This war is not always being fought on battlefields.

It may be other types of struggles, such as Iran joining BRICS and the SCO, two economic groups that are linked to China or Russia, and which Iran wants to be part of in order to balance the western-led economies such as the G7.

Iran’s president’s statement matters. It shows how Iran is thinking about October 7 and the long term plans that Iran has. Iran sees the fighting in Gaza as a benefit. It also sees the suffering of Gazans as a benefit. UN: ‘Convincing information’ sexual violence committed against hostages in Gaza

March 5, 2024 — BBC.com reports: “A UN team says there is ‘convincing information’ that hostages held in Gaza have been subjected to sexual violence including rape and sexualised torture.

There were grounds to suspect the abuse was still ongoing, the UN said.

The UN team also found ‘reasonable grounds to believe’ sexual violence, including gang rape, took place when Hamas attacked Israel on 7 October.

Israel’s foreign ministry said it welcomed the ‘definitive recognition that Hamas committed sexual crimes’.

The UN Security Council should now designate Hamas as a terrorist organisation and impose international sanctions on it, spokesman Lior Haiat said.

Hamas has denied its gunmen sexually assaulted women during the attacks…”  (Mass sexual assault of women in public has been documented in Egypt since 2005.  On February 11, 2011, CBS News correspondent Lara Logan was reporting in Egypt about the celebrations following the resignation of Hosni Mubarak when she was attacked by a group of 200 – 300 men, several of whom gang raped her for nearly one half hour.  Her only offense – not having her head covered.  In an article I have cited before, Dawn Perlmutter said: “From a Western perspective this was a crazed mob out of control.  For a shame culture this was an acceptable punishment for a woman who was not properly covered.  They pulled her blonde hair out and more than likely kept it as souvenirs.” 

Here is what our God states: “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God” I Corinthians 6:9, 10.)

Prime Minister’s Office: ‘Hamas has turned down every compromise proposed by the US’

March 26, 2024 — Israel National News reports: “The Prime Minister’s Office on Tuesday morning said that Hamas is not interested in a prisoner swap agreement.

‘The Hamas position proves clearly that Hamas is not interested in continuing the negotiations for a deal, and constitutes saddening evidence of the damage done by the Security Council’s resolution,’ the Office said in a statement.

‘Hamas has once again rejected every US compromise and returned to its extremist demands: an immediate end to the war, the IDF’s complete withdrawal from the Strip, and remaining in power so that they can repeat the October 7 massacre over and over again, as they have promised to do.’

‘Hamas has refused every US compromise proposal, and praised the Security Council resolution.’…”  (Benjamin Netanyahu has stated: “If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more violence.  If the Jews put down their weapons today, there would be no more Israel.” 

Israel does all that it can to protect civilians – Hamas uses civilians to protect their missiles; placing them next to schools and in residential neighborhoods.)

Michigan Imam: We Muslims Will Yet ‘Slaughter’ the Jews ‘Like Sheep’

March 22, 2024 — Breitbart.com reports: “Muslims will yet ‘slaughter’ the Jews ‘like sheep’ when the opportunity arises, according to a Michigan Islamic cleric who appealed to Allah, seeking to become ‘soldiers’ for Islam in any form desired, including death.

In a sermon at the Islamic Center of Warren, Michigan, in January, Imam Abdou Zindani warned of the fate of Jews everywhere, pointing to a Palestinian businessman who told a Jewish New Yorker what Muslims have in store for the Jews. 

‘Don’t worry, don’t worry, Jewish man,’ he said. ‘One day will come, and we will slaughter you like a sheep and the stone and the tree will work… undercover for us, [saying:] ‘Hey Muslim, come, there is somebody hiding here, get up and kill him.’’

The Sheikh was apparently referencing a grisly passage in the Islamic text, known as the Hadith, that reads as follows: ‘Judgement Day will not come until the Muslims fight the Jews. The Jews will hide behind the stones and the trees, and the stones and the trees will say, oh Muslim, oh servant of Allah, there is a Jew hiding behind me — come and kill him.’ The same excerpt is cited in the Hamas terror group’s charter…”  (Dr. Michael Brown in his column “In The Line of Fire” for Charisma News wrote an article entitled “Verses of Violence: Comparing the Bible and Quran” in which he brought out three points: “1. The violent verses in the Bible were for a specific time and place; the violent verses in the Quran are spoken in general terms.  2. For Christians, the Old Testament is the foundation on which the New Testament is built and so the New Testament contains the final revelation. Significantly, there are no verses in the New Testament in which believers are called on to kill their enemies. For Muslims, the Quran is the final revelation.  3.  The ultimate example for Christians is Jesus. For Muslims, Muhammad is the perfect man and the model to be followed. Jesus was crucified and ordered His followers not to defend Him from His fate. Muhammad, who began his mission as a preacher rather than a soldier, led pillaging raids (to get money for his followers); fought aggressive, offensive wars to subdue his enemies; and on one famous occasion, beheaded his Jewish captives.”  See the next three reports.)

American imam claims that right now, fall of Israel is ‘imminent’

March 20, 2024 — WND.com reports: “There long have been Islamists around the world who desire, even call for and predict, the destruction of Israel.

Now an adjunct professor at UC-Irvine, Osman Umarji, has joined that group, by insisting that the fall of Israel is now imminent.

He claims it’s because Muslims now are acknowledging that Muhammad was a ‘warrior.’

The details of Umarji’s claims are documented in a video at the Middle East Media Research Institute.

The organization reports that Umarji is an ‘Islamic scholar’ and teacher in the school of education at Irvine.

His ideology was revealed during a recent sermon at the Islamic Center of San Gabriel Valley…”

‘Death to All Jews’ — Orthodox Jewish Man Stabbed by ‘Allahu Akbar’ Knifeman in Zurich

March 4, 2024 — Breitbart.com reports: “An Orthodox Jewish man was stabbed multiple times in Zurich on Saturday evening by a knifeman who reportedly shouted out ‘death to all Jews’ and ‘Allahu Akbar’ during the attack.

A 50-year-old man of Orthodox Jewish faith was left with life-threatening injuries after being stabbed multiple times in Switzerland’s largest city at the Brandschenkestrasse/Selnaustrasse junction in Zurich District 2.

According to the German-language Swiss newspaper Neue Zürcher Zeitung, a 15-year-old suspect was arrested at the scene of the attack. Police are currently investigating the potential motive for the attack, including the possibility that it was inspired by antisemitism.

The name and background of the suspected knifeman have yet to be revealed to the public…”

Foreign Min.: Hamas wants to destroy Israel because they want to destroy the Jewish people

March 7, 2024 — Israel National News reports: “Israel’s Foreign Affairs Minister Israel Katz (Likud) on Thursday praised South Dakota for its decision to adopt the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) antisemitism definition.

Earlier this week, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem signed into law HB 1076, requiring the consideration of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) Working Definition of Antisemitism in investigations of unfair or discriminatory practices in the state.

‘I commend the Governor of South Dakota, a true friend of Israel, on her decision to join 33 other states in the United States and adopt the IHRA definition which considers anti-Zionism as anti-Semitism, as an official law in her state,’ Katz wrote.

‘Since October 7th, we see the hatred of Jews and the support for Hamas’ horrific acts of terror as a modern form of Jew hatred.’

‘They want to destroy the State of Israel because they want to destroy the Jewish people,’ he added…”

Israeli Ambassador Has Purim Message for Enemies of Israel

March 25, 2024 — PJMedia.com reports: “The God of Israel saved His people from attempted genocide in ancient Persia, as the Bible tells us — and the modern Israeli ambassador to the United Nations (UN) wants current violent anti-Semites to remember that.

Speaking to a UN Council, Israel’s UN Ambassador Gilad Erdan said, in a clip posted to Twitter/X, ‘Tomorrow, dear colleagues, the Jewish people will celebrate the holiday of Purim, and this holiday is a very important message to the murderous Ayatollah regime [of Iran] and the rest of the world.’ This is not the first time a powerful Persian has tried to ensure destruction of the Jews, as Erdan explained: ‘1500 years ago, in Persia, which is modern-day Iran, the king signed a disastrous decree, a resolution calling to annihilate all the Jews in his empire.’ The slogan for the holiday of Purim is ‘and the opposite happened,’ Erdan continued. ‘Those who plotted against the Jewish people had their own schemes turned against them.’

Purim is rooted in the historical events related in the book of Esther, included in both Jewish and Christian Bibles. The beautiful Hadassah was selected to be Queen of Persia, but concealed her Jewish identity and took the name Esther on the advice of her uncle Mordecai. The arrogant royal official Haman plotted the annihilation not only of pious Mordecai but of the whole Jewish population in Persia. Esther, however, bolstered by prayer, interceded with her husband King Xerxes (or Assuerus) and saved her people. Haman and his ilk were killed instead, and the feast of Purim still commemorates how the Jews escaped massacre and instead conquered their enemies…”  (The Ambassador is correct.  The events are described in the Old Testament book of Esther, where Haman plotted to kill all the Jews because Mordechai would not bow down to him.  Haman launched an elaborate plot to kill all the Jews in the vast Persian Empire.  But God had other plans, and the fate that Haman planned for the Jews became his own.)
