Young Woman in Uganda Beaten, Disowned for Putting Faith in Christ
November 19, 2015 — Morning Star News reports: “The father of a young Muslim woman in east Uganda on Thursday (Nov. 12) tried to beat her to death after she became a Christian, but community leaders intervened and limited him to disowning her, sources said.
Kibida Muyemba learned that his 21-year-old daughter, Namusisi Birye, had put her faith in Christ at an evangelistic campaign held that day in Nandere village, Kadama Sub-county, Kibuku District, 41 kilometers (25 miles) west of Mbale, church leaders told Morning Star News. Birye and a man in the traditional dress of an imam confessed openly to receiving Christ, they said, and angry Muslims cut the event short.
Word of Birye’s conversion had reached her parents by the time she arrived home at 7 p.m., and her father began beating her, Birye said…
Birye’s father and mother, Amina Hasakya, were shouting furiously that she should be killed, he said.
‘Our daughter must be killed according to Islam, because she has become apostate,’ her father told those who came to her aid, the pastor said. ‘She can never be our daughter again.’…” (Killing apostates, Muslims who convert to Christianity, and infidels who become converts to the Lord Jesus Christ are to be killed according to points three and four of Islamic Sharia Law. Strange actions by Muslims who say: “We also love Jesus according to 100 billboards erected throughout the USA.” The Muslim and Christian Jesus are the same in both of the Holy Books these Muslims state. Then why kill other Muslims who want Jesus since He is the same Jesus. What prevaricators and liars Muslim leaders often are. See the next three reports.)
British Christian Brutally Beaten Outside Home By Muslim Neighbours Who Labelled Him a ‘Blasphemer’
November 20, 2015 — Breitbart.com reports: “A British Christian man has been attacked on the streets of Bradford, England, by men wielding a pickaxe handle – because he converted from Islam to Christianity over a decade ago. The attack is the latest incident in a long campaign of violence and intimidation directed against the man and his family, who have been labelled ‘blasphemers’ by their Muslim neighbours.
Father of six Nissar Hussain was brutally beaten by two hooded thugs outside his home in Mannigham in an unprovoked attack, at about 5pm on Tuesday, suffering a broken kneecap, a fractured forearm and a concussion. Police have confirmed that they are investigating the incident as a targeted attack and a religious hate crime…”
Armed Muslims Take Wife, Children from Christian in Kenya
November 23, 2015 — MorningStarNews.org reports: “A secret Christian in coastal Kenya escaped Muslim in-laws who last week sought to stab him and took his wife and children, less than two weeks after Islamic extremists further south torched two church buildings, sources said.
Former Muslim Hassan Ali said he narrowly escaped death when Muslim neighbors and in-laws armed with knives and a dagger known as a ‘Somali sword’ on Nov. 11 knocked on his door in Witu, Lamu County at about 8 p.m.
‘I thank God that I am alive,’ Ali said. ‘I know they were out to kill me. I am praying that my wife will not lose her faith in Christ.’
He said area Muslims may have come for him after noting his lack of mosque attendance…”
Christian teen raped, forcibly converted and married to Muslim man
November 18, 2015 — ChristianToday.com reports: “A Christian girl has been raped, forcibly converted to Islam and married to a Muslim man in Pakistan.
Sana Bibi, aged 13, was abducted on her way to school by a Muslim man, Waheed Akhtar, known locally as Rambo. When her sister noticed her absence she told her family who immediately went to Akhtar’s house but received no response.
After the whole family and the police forced entry into the house without finding their daughter, Bibi’s father, Shahid Jaan, received a call from Akhtar who told him what he had done.
‘I have married to your girl and she is Muslim now so whatever you want to do you can do,’ he told the family. ‘The law is on my side as I am a Muslim are you are just kaffir [non-Muslim].’…”
Christians facing ‘Indonesian jihad’ as churches burned on imams’ orders
November 14, 2015 — Fox News reports: “A 153-foot statue of an open-armed Jesus famously towers high above the Indonesian city of Manado, but Christians are under siege in the world’s fourth-most populous country, according to a disturbing new report.
The Southeast Asian nation, where about 90 percent of its 250 million people are Muslim, has long been seen as seen as an example that a large Muslim majority can live in relative peace alongside minority religions, like Christianity and Hinduism. But in October, there was a troubling outburst in violence in the Sharia-law governed region of Aceh. At the urging from Islamic leaders, hundreds of Muslims took to the streets with machetes and torched area churches.
‘We will not stop hunting Christians and burning churches. Christians are Allah’s enemies,’ one Islamic leader said, according to a report by the Gatestone Institute titled, ‘The Indonesian Jihad on Christian Churches.’…” (Strange language concerning Christians when Muslim billboards throughout America stated that the Jesus of the Koran and Jesus of the Christian Bible are the same. If true, why are these Muslim killers using machetes and burning Christian churches honoring believers in Jesus destroyed? See the next report.)
Pastors in India beaten and jailed simply for praying in their own homes
November 14, 2015 — ChristianToday.com reports; “Evangelicals in India are calling on Christian leaders in the UK to pressure the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit this week to intervene to help persecuted Christians in India.
Christians are being beaten and killed in India and the influence of hardline Hindus has increased since Modi’s government was elected in summer last year, according to the charity Open Doors.
Vijesh Lall, secretary of the Freedom and Development Commission of the Evangelical Fellowship of India, told Christian Today: ‘The situation has deteriorated in the north. It is not just Christians. It is other minorities and civil society being affected as well.’
He described one incident where Christian pastors were beaten and jailed simply for praying together in a private house.
‘The Christians on the ground are fearful and have been for quite some time. People used to attack Christians if they evangelised on the street. Now Christians are not even safe if they are praying in their own homes…”
