Manchester attack: 22 dead and 59 hurt in suicide bombing

May 23, 2017 — BBC News reports: “Twenty-two people, including children, have been killed and 59 injured in a suicide attack at Manchester Arena.

The blast happened in the foyer at 22:35 BST on Monday at the end of a concert by US singer Ariana Grande.

Police said the lone male attacker, who died in the blast, detonated a homemade bomb…

The prime minister has chaired a meeting of the government’s emergency Cobra committee and is expected to travel to Manchester later.

Chief Constable Ian Hopkins said it was ‘the most horrific incident’ the city had ever faced.

He said the ‘fast-moving investigation’ was now working to establish whether the attacker ‘was acting alone or as part of a network’.

Sixty ambulances attended the incident and those wounded are now being treated at six hospitals around the city…”  (Another in a long line of despicable and cowardly acts by these ‘losers’ as President Trump calls them in the following article.  What causes these losers to strap on explosives and run into a crowd of children and teenagers?  According to a hadith of Muhammad: “Truly the martyr is given by Allah Almighty six things: 1) Forgiveness of sins from the first drop of his blood to be shed; 2) Protection from the torment of the grave; 3) Safety from the Greatest Fear [i.e. the Day of Judgment]; 4) Receiving the crown of veneration, a single sapphire of which is worth more than the whole world and its contents; 5) Marriage to seventy-two of the wide-eyed virgins; 6) Intercession on behalf of seventy of his relatives.”  What a surprise for them when they close their eyes in this world, and open them in “outer darkness, where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth” – Matthew 8:12; 13:41-42; 22:11-13; 24:44-51; and 25:14-30.  These passages declare the undeniable fact that those who do not belong to Christ will suffer a terrible fate, while His children will enjoy Heaven with Him eternally.  The misery that causes the gnashing of teeth will be unknown in Heaven.  See the next three reports.) 

Trump deplores ‘evil losers’ who bombed Manchester concert

May 23, 2017 — The Times of Israel reports: “US President Donald Trump on Tuesday condemned the bombing of a pop concert in Britain that claimed the lives of 22 people in Manchester the previous night, describing those who carried out the attack as ‘evil losers’ and saying that society can no longer tolerate such bloodshed.

Trump was delivering a press statement together with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in Bethlehem as part of his 28-hour visit to Israel and the West Bank. The two men also discussed the future of Israeli-Palestinian peace talks.

Manchester police said an apparent suicide bomber set off an improvised explosive device at the end of an Ariana Grande concert in the northeastern UK city. Many of those killed and injured were reportedly children.

‘I extend my deepest condolences to those terribly injured in this terrorist attack, and to the many killed, and the families, so many families, of the victims,’ Trump said. ‘We stand in absolute solidarity with the people in the United Kingdom. So many young innocent people living and enjoying their lives, murdered by evil losers in life.

‘I won’t call them monsters, because they would like that term,’ he continued. ‘They would think that’s a great name. I will call them from now on losers, because that’s what they are, they’re losers. And we’ll have more of them, but they’re losers. Just remember that.’…”

John Robson: The obvious lesson about terrorists — they hate us for who we are, not what we do

May 26, 2017 — The National Post reports: “Once again, we find ourselves aghast at a terrorist atrocity. Once again, we seek to console, rebuild and carry on. And once again, we wonder what it can all mean.

Consolation is the first task. And we must carry on, seeking better security without shrinking into lives of fear. But we must also recognize, again, that these people hate us not for what we do but for who we are.

Consider the choice of target: an Ariana Grande concert. Not a gathering of police officers, soldiers, politicians, Christians, Jews or even ‘capitalists.’ Young people having fun at a pop concert. Why them?

Part of the answer is that it’s random. Terrorism aims to be unpredictable.

Part is convenience. The terrorists were presumably looking for a ‘soft’ target and a concert is far easier to attack than a government building or a major sports event nowadays. Or at least, sort of. (It would be possible to hit a crowd pouring out of a hockey game in Canada, or a soccer match in Britain, avoiding tight security at the actual venue entrances, just as it was possible to hit people bunched together leaving a concert.)

Partly, it was a decision to massacre the most innocent: teens and even children. Of the dozens who were injured, roughly a fifth were under 16; roughly a dozen remain in hospital. The youngest confirmed fatality was just eight. And of those adults present, a high proportion were accompanying their children. Islamists proudly declare that they are in love with death. Their rejection of life, joy, hope and affirmation in every form is underlined by their choice of victims in this instance. In fact, I have wanted to put this thought in print for a long time and it’s time to say it out loud: if your religion loves death, you are worshipping the wrong supernatural being…”

Islamic State Supporters Vow to ‘Shake’ the West Following Manchester Terrorist Massacre

May 24, 2017 — Breitbart.com reports: “Islamic State sympathizers and militants celebrated last night’s deadly terrorist massacre at a crowded concert in Manchester, England, with the jihadists vowing to continue the onslaught against the West.

The Islamic State claimed that a ‘soldier of the caliphate planted bombs in the middle of Crusaders gatherings,’ apparently taking credit for the carnage.

Breitbart Jerusalem obtained access to correspondence posted in a closed chat group that utilizes the encrypted Telegram messaging service. The chat group serves as an internal Twitter of sorts for IS jihadists and sympathizers, and it has been used in the past to issue IS communications.

A militant named Abu Ayman Alalmani (the German) wrote, ‘Thanks to Allah who allowed this achievement of the Mujahedeen. We are all believers in Allah that our brothers, the supporters and the Mujahedeen, are those who committed the attack among the infidels. We swear to Allah that the infidel countries in the West won’t have the luxury of security. This is a Godly promise and this is the promise of the Mujahedeen, the future will prove to you that you are the countries of heresy. You will see this and not only hear it.’…”

ISIS Newspaper Days Before London Bridge: New UK Attack ‘Definitely Coming’

June 4, 2017 — PJMedia.com reports: “The latest issue of the Islamic State’s weekly newspaper al-Naba released two days ago warned that another terrorist attack in Britain was “definitely coming.”

Al-Naba, a 16-page color newsletter, is distributed within ISIS territory but is also posted and distributed online via the usual ISIS mediums such as Telegram and social media.

Britain, said an article within the newsletter titled “Blessed Battle of Manchester: A new lesson for tyrants, Crusader States,” thought it “was safe from the wounds of the Mujahideen.”

“Protected by the sea they have long relied on isolating themselves” and thought “their exit from the European Union would save them.”

“A soldier from the Islamic State” in Manchester, the article continued, “has unleashed terror throughout their country, they rushed to spread the army in the cities, mobilizing police and security in the streets for fear of a new attack,” which “is inevitable, God willing.”…”  (…pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment… they are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression; they speak loftily.  They have set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth” – Psalm 73:6; 8-9.)

Van Hits Pedestrians in ‘Major Incident’ at London Bridge, Reports of Stabbings, Gunfire Multiple Injuries

June 3, 2017 — Breitbart.com reports: “Police are responding to an incident in central London on Saturday night following a report a van has hit a number of pedestrians on London Bridge.

At 2208hr British Summer Time (BST), Metropolitan Police officers responded to reports of a vehicle in collision with pedestrians.

Witnesses have said a white van mounted the pavement and ran over pedestrians.

There are reports there are armed police at the scene, and about five people are being treated for their injuries after being hit by the vehicle.

BBC reporter Holly Jones, who was on the bridge at the time of the incident, said the van was driven by a man and was ‘probably travelling at about 50 miles an hour’….”  (ISIS is encouraging its followers to carry out attacks with vehicles and knives.  Their propaganda magazine Rumiyah is filled with instructions as to how to pick out the proper vehicle, how to kill as many people as possible with knives.  Romans 1:29 – 31 describes these dealers of death as: “Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful.”  See the next report.)

London attack: 12 arrested in Barking after van and knife attack

June 4, 2017 — BBC News reports: “Twelve people have been arrested after the London terror attack which left seven people dead and 48 injured.

The arrests in Barking, east London, followed a raid at a flat belonging to one of the three attackers.

A van hit pedestrians on London Bridge at 21:58 BST on Saturday. Three men then got out and stabbed people in nearby Borough Market.

The attackers were shot dead by eight officers who fired 50 bullets. A member of the public was accidentally shot.

The member of the public remains in hospital in a non-critical condition, Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley said.

“The situation these officers were confronted with was critical, a matter of life and death – three armed men wearing what appeared to be suicide belts,” he said.

“They had already attacked and killed members of the public and had to be stopped immediately.”

The suspected suicide vests were later found to be hoaxes…”

Islamic State Supporters Celebrate London Terror: Allah Will Reward You for Running over Infidels

June 4, 2017 — Breitbart.com reports: “Writing in an encrypted chat room, Islamic State sympathizers and militants hailed Saturday’s deadly attacks in London and typically called for more such carnage throughout Europe and the West.

Breitbart Jerusalem obtained access to correspondence posted in a closed chat group that utilizes the encrypted Telegram messaging service. The group serves as an internal Twitter of sorts for IS jihadists and sympathizers, and has been used in the past to issue IS communications.

No group has claimed responsibility for the terrorist massacre in London yet in which seven people were murdered and dozens more were injured near the London Bridge and Borough Market.

The attack was carried out mere hours after an IS-linked news service had posted a message on Telegram calling for supporters to “gain benefit from Ramadan” and “kill the civilians of the Crusaders. Run over them by vehicles.”…”  (Allah is incapable of rewarding – “For all of the gods of the nations are idols; but the LORD made the heavens” – Psalm 96:5.  God Almighty will judge.  Jonathan Edwards, on July 8, 1741 delivered a sermon entitled “Sinners in the hands of an angry God” in which he spoke of the wrath of God that will be poured out on sinners.  He stated: “…There are the black clouds of God’s wrath now hanging directly over your heads, full of the dreadful storm, and big with thunder; and were it not for the restraining hand of God, it would immediately burst forth upon you…The wrath of God is like great waters that are dammed for the present; they increase more and more, and rise higher and higher, till an outlet is given; and the longer the stream is stopped, the more rapid and mighty is its course, when once it is let loose…If God should only withdraw his hand from the flood-gate, it would immediately fly open, and the fiery floods of the fierceness and wrath of God, would rush forth with inconceivable fury, and would come upon you with omnipotent power; and if your strength were ten thousand times greater than it is, yea, ten thousand times greater than the strength of the stoutest, sturdiest devil in hell, it would be nothing to withstand or endure it.  The bow of God’s wrath is bent, and the arrow made ready on the string, and justice bends the arrow at your heart, and strains the bow, and it is nothing but the mere pleasure of God, and that of an angry God, without any promise or obligation at all, that keeps the arrow one moment from being made drunk with your blood…”  Praise God Jonathan Edwards did not end his sermon there.  “…And now you have an extraordinary opportunity, a day wherein Christ has thrown the door of mercy wide open, and stands in calling and crying with a loud voice to poor sinners; a day wherein many are flocking to him, and pressing into the kingdom of God. Many are daily coming from the east, west, north and south; many that were very lately in the same miserable condition that you are in, are now in a happy state, with their hearts filled with love to him who has loved them, and washed them from their sins in his own blood, and rejoicing in hope of the glory of God…”  Yes, even members of ISIS can be forgiven by God if they turn to Him.  Missionary David Garrison wrote a book, A Wind in the House of Islam, in which he sates ‘we are living in the midst of the greatest turning of Muslims to Christ in history’.  Many that convert face a death penalty, but Jesus stated: “…Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that, have no more that they can do. But I will forewarn you whom you shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed, hath power to cast into hell: yea, I say unto you, Fear him” – Luke 12:4 – 5.)

Dearborn, Michigan link to London jihad massacre

June 6, 2017 — WND.com reports: “People who knew the jihadists who struck Saturday with long knives against defenseless London diners saw something, and they said something. But the British government did nothing.

In fact, one of the three attackers was reported to authorities for following the teachings of a known radical sheik based in Dearborn, Michigan.

Dearborn is home to the largest Arab-American community in the U.S.

According to the Telegraph, a former friend of one of the three dead London suspects claimed one of the attackers had been radicalized while watching Dearborn cleric Ahmad Musa Jibril’s YouTube videos, and he said he contacted authorities after becoming concerned about his friend’s Islamist views.

The Telegraph described the Dearborn sheik as ‘infamous American hate preacher Ahmad Musa Jibril.’…”  (This cleric is following in the footsteps of Anjem Choudary, Britain’s most notorious radical Muslim preacher, who in September 2016 was sentenced to five and a half years in prison for ISIS recruitment.  See the next two reports that show that this recruitment drive is a success.)

23,000 Jihadists in Britain, Not 3,000 As Previously Claimed

May 28, 2017 — Breitbart.com reports: “Government sources have confessed that there are at least 23,000 jihadists in Britain – more than seven times higher than previously revealed.

Until recently, the public had been led to believe there were around 3,000 known jihadists in Britain, with 500 being subject to active investigations led by MI5. Whitehall officials have now disclosed that a further 20,000 individuals have been identified as posing a “residual risk”, according to The Times…”

Terror expert: U.K. let radical imams ‘inspire’ terrorists’ acts of ‘evil’

June 7, 2017 — WND.com reports: “Cherished freedoms make the fight against radical Islam more difficult in the United States and the United Kingdom, but the battle can be won through the ideas and by putting an end to cultural coddling of radical ideologies, according to a terrorism expert with extensive ties to the U.K.

Frustrations over recent, deadly terrorist attacks in London and Manchester are more aggravated by stories revealing one of the terrorists was featured in a documentary called ‘The Jihadis Next Door’ and made no secret about his support for jihad and that more than 20,000 people in the U.K. are of concern to authorities.

However, Anglosphere Society Founder Amanda Bowman told WND and Radio America rounding up these suspects is much tougher to do in a free society.

‘The problem that we are dealing with in the United States and the United Kingdom is that you can’t actually detain people until they do something, because in our countries we respect the right to speak out,’ said Bowman, who also ran the New York office of the Center for Security Policy for eight years.

‘We are now, both in the U.S. and the U.K. and in western Europe, the victims of our own tolerant societies and what makes it so worthwhile to be American or to be British,’ Bowman said…”
