Iranian general: ‘Date set’ for destruction of Israel
April 17, 2018 — Israel National News reports: “An Iranian general stated that a date has been set for the destruction of Israel.
Brigadier General Kioumars Heydari, the commander of the Iranian ground forces, said in a speech that Iran’s army is ‘much stronger than in the past’ and that Israel can no longer threaten the Islamic Republic.
The Iranian news agency Mehr reported that the general said that ‘the date has already been set’ for the destruction of Israel.
Heydari delivered his speech ahead of Iran’s ‘Army Day’, which will begin tomorrow (Wednesday), on the same day Israel celebrates its Independence Day. He stressed that unlike Saudi Arabia and other countries in the region, which import weapons from the West, his country produces its own weapons…” (When will Israel be destroyed? The answer is found in a 1970’s Country music song lyric – “Exactly one minute past eternity.” It will never happen. God has promised Israel: “I will give them [Israel] an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.” – Isaiah 56:5. Jesus will reign from Israel forever: “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.” – Isaiah 9:6-7; “He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.” – Luke 1:32-33; “But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it. And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.” – Micah 4:1-3. Khamenei: Israel should be forced to ‘retreat to point of demise’
April 5, 2018 — YnetNews.com reports: “Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei called Wednesday on the people of Muslim countries to defeat Israel. ‘With an intense and planned struggle, they should force the enemy to retreat toward the point of demise,’ he said.
Any move to negotiate with Israel would be an ‘unforgivable mistake’, the cleric added, after Saudi Arabia’s crown prince said Israelis were entitled to live peacefully on their own land.
Supreme Leader Khamenei later tweeted, ‘On days when escalation of oppression & barbarism by the Zionists, in Gaza has saddened and angered those who care for Palestine, we reiterate the perpetual stance of the Islamic Republic regarding the issue of Palestine.
‘The return of dignity and power to the Islamic nation is exclusively linked to resistance—while confronting arrogant powers and their wicked plots—and the issue of Palestine is at the top of Islam’s international agenda in the face of the arrogant front.’
Saudi Arabia—birthplace of Islam and site of its holiest shrines—does not officially recognize Israel, but Mohammed bin Salman’s comments, quoted in the US magazine The Atlantic, are a further sign of an apparent thawing in bilateral ties…”
‘BDS’ goal is to destroy Israel’
April 16, 2018 — Israel National News reports: “Attorney Nati Rom, founder of the ‘Lev Ha’olam’ organization responded to the recent string of ‘Israel Apartheid Week’ events, discussing the Mayor of Dublin’s participation in an anti-Israel event, the BDS movement, and the growth of anti-Semitism worldwide.
‘Anti-Semitism has not disappeared – it has simply taken new form in terms of hatred of Israel,’ Rom said, responding to a visit by Dublin’s mayor to the Palestinian Authority city of Ramallah. ‘Sometimes attackers of Israel clothe themselves in the language of human rights and concern for the Palestinians, yet their goal is always the same: to harm the Jewish people.’
In Ramallah, the mayor visited Yasser Arafat’s grave and took part in a conference remembering Haj Amin al-Husseini, who incited Arabs to murder Jews and cooperated with the Nazis during World War II.
Rom slammed Israeli border control authorities over the approval granted this week for the Dublin mayor to enter Israel, apparently given by accident due to a spelling error, saying that authorities had brought a fifth column into the country. He also noted that Dublin’s mayor took another step against Israel this week when he acceded to the demands of BDS activists to boycott Hewlett Packard, due to the company’s cooperation with Israel.
Rom also highlighted several other events this week involving hatred towards Israel. One of those is ‘Israel Apartheid Week,’ an annual week-long event on college campuses organized by BDS supporters to attack Israel.
‘The students supporting BDS chant ‘From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,’ which shows their clear goal of destroying Israel,’ Rom explained…”
Saudi Crown Prince Says Israelis Have Right to Their Own Land
April 3, 2018 — Voice of America News reports: “Saudi Arabia’s crown prince said Israelis are entitled to live peacefully on their own land in an interview published on Monday in U.S. magazine The Atlantic, another public sign of ties between Riyadh and Tel Aviv appearing to grow closer.
Asked if he believes the Jewish people have a right to a nation-state in at least part of their ancestral homeland, Mohammed bin Salman was quoted as saying: ‘I believe the Palestinians and the Israelis have the right to have their own land. But we have to have a peace agreement to assure the stability for everyone and to have normal relations.’
Saudi Arabia — birthplace of Islam and home to its holiest shrines — does not recognize Israel. It has maintained for years that normalizing relations hinges on Israeli withdrawal from Arab lands captured in the 1967 Middle East war, territory Palestinians seek for a future state.
‘We have religious concerns about the fate of the holy mosque in Jerusalem and about the rights of the Palestinian people. This is what we have. We don’t have any objection against any other people,’ said Prince Mohammed who is touring the United States to drum up investments and support for his efforts to contain Iranian influence…” (Genesis 15:18 states: “In the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates” and in Joshua 1:4 we read: “From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.” These verses encompass all of the land modern Israel currently possesses, plus all of the land of the Palestinians (the West Bank and Gaza), plus some of Egypt and Syria, plus all of Jordan, plus some of Saudi Arabia and Iraq. Israel currently possesses only a fraction of the land God has promised. See the next two reports.)
After Crown Prince Recognizes Israel’s Right to Exist, Saudi King Reiterates Support for Palestinians
April 3, 2018 — Haaretz reports: “King Salman reiterated Saudi Arabia’s support for a Palestinian state after his son and heir apparent said Israelis were entitled to live peacefully on their own land – a rare statement by an Arab leader.
The king also emphasised the need to advance the peace process in a phone call with U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday night, made after Israeli security forces killed 16 Palestinians last week during a demonstration along the Israel-Gaza border.
King Salman reaffirmed ‘the kingdom’s steadfast position towards the Palestinian issue and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital’, state news agency SPA said on Tuesday…”
Saudi King demands Palestinian state, hits Trump over Jerusalem move
April 16, 2018 — Israel National News reports: “The King of Saudi Arabia criticized President Donald Trump on Sunday over his declaration in December recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and announcing plans to relocate the US embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
Speaking at the opening of the 29th Arab Summit of the Arab League in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia on Sunday, King Salman bin Abdulaziz rejected US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, adding that the Islamic kingdom views eastern Jerusalem as an ‘integral part’ of a future Palestinian state.
‘We reiterate our rejection of the US decision on Jerusalem,’ the King said in his speech Sunday.
‘East Jerusalem is an integral part of the Palestinian territories,’ the king added…”
Hamas leader threatens to attack ‘settlements’
April 9, 2018 — Israel National News reports: “Senior Hamas leader Mahmoud al-Zahar on Sunday warned the IDF against operating in Gaza in response to the ‘March of the Return’, in which Gazans are marching en masse toward the border with Israel.
In an interview with the Hamas-affiliated newspaper Felesteen, Zahar said that ‘Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman wants to send a message of intimidation, but he knows that we are not afraid.’
Asked about the possibility of an Israeli attack in Gaza, Zahar replied, ‘The message is clear, an eye for an eye. If it attacks inside Gaza, we will attack the settlements that are deep inside Israel.’
‘The Palestinian people are the guide today, because the Palestinian people are stronger than any organization and the roots of the people are stronger than the 1967 borders and stronger than the 1948 borders,’ Zahar continued.
‘Among the Palestinian, Arab and Israeli leadership there are those who believe that the (Palestinian) people have forgotten their land. The Palestinian people today emphasize that they have not forgotten a single inch of Palestine and will not give up any holy place in it, and we will not stop the resistance until we realize this goal,’ he threatened…” (As was reported in the November 2017 Van Impe Intelligence Briefing – No independent Arab or Palestinian state ever existed in Palestine. When the distinguished Arab-American historian, Princeton University Prof. Philip Hitti, testified against partition before the Anglo-American Committee in 1946, he said: “There is no such thing as ‘Palestine’ in history, absolutely not.” In fact, Palestine is never explicitly mentioned in the Koran, rather it is called “the holy land” (al-Arad al-Muqaddash).”)
Lieberman to Hamas: ‘You’ll never break us’
April 13, 2018 — YnetNews.com reports: “The state ceremony marking the end of Holocaust Memorial Day took place Thursday evening at the Yad Mordechai kibbutz, marking 75 years since the famed rebellion in the Warsaw Ghetto.
The ceremony was attended by Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman and Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon, both of whom delivered remarks. In Lieberman’s speech, the defense minister sent a message to Gaza’s denizens, saying, ‘You’ll never break us.’
Apart for the quarter century since the rebellion, the ceremony was also held in commemoration of 75 years since the founding of the kibbutz.
Several key events in the history of the Jewish people were noted during the ceremony, starting with Kristallnacht in 1938 and ending with the declaration of the State of Israel’s independence—or ‘From the night of darkness to the night of decision,’ as organizers put it.
Lieberman’s speech at the ceremony was directed at the inhabitants of Gaza, Hamas chiefly among them. ‘The spirit, hope and faith that have accompanied us during the Holocaust and the War of Independence are stronger than all of our enemies and those who hate us,’ he declared.
‘You don’t stand a chance. Change course and begin thinking not about how to annihilate the State of Israel, but how to exist alongside it. That would be far better—first and foremost for you, but also for the people of Israel and for the entire region,’ he advised…” (In Deuteronomy 7:7-10 God speaks of His eternal love for His chosen people — the Jews: “The Lord did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people: But because the Lord loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the Lord brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations; And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.”)
The newest Hamas recruit: A 7-year-old girl
March 30, 2018 — Israel National News reports: “A seven-year-old girl was sent by Hamas into Israel, to fight with IDF forces.
The IDF confirmed that the suspected terrorist was a young girl, received her, and ensured that she returned safely to her parents.
‘The Hamas terror organization cynically uses women and children, sending them to the border and endangering their lives,’ an IDF spokesman said.
Approximately 17,000 Gazans are protesting in five locations along the Gaza-Israel border. The protest is part of the planned ‘march of return,’ and participants are burning tires, and throwing firebombs and stones at the border and at IDF forces…” (Proverbs 22:6 warns: “Train up a child in the way he should go: [or in this case the way he should not go] and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” That goes for murderers and eternal Hell as well as for Heaven and eternal love and joy.)
