Hezbollah Chief Threatens More Terrorism: ‘The Existence of Israel Is a Disaster’

February 15, 2024 — Breitbart.com reports: “The leader of the Lebanese Shiite terrorist group Hezbollah Hassan Nasrallah, claimed in a speech on Tuesday the group’s attacks had displaced 100,000 Israelis and another two million could lose their homes, the latest in a series of escalating threats against the Jewish state from Beirut since October 7.

Nasrallah used his remarks on Tuesday – at a ‘ceremony held by the Lebanese resistance movement [sic] in honor of Lebanon’s wounded and captured [terrorists],’ according to Iran’s PressTV state outlet – to declare that Hezbollah would respond proportionately to any self-defense operations by Israel to prevent more jihadist slaughter on its territory. ‘All options are on the table,’ he declared…

Elsewhere in his speech, Nasrallah claimed that his group’s terrorist activities ‘have generated real achievements for our people and our country.’

‘The existence of Israel is a disaster for the entire region and a fearful and deterred Israel represents a less dangerous and harmful situation for the people of the region,’ Nasrallah continued, according to PressTV. ‘In light of what is happening in Gaza, the Lebanese, Syrian, Jordanian, and Egyptian national interests require that Israel emerge from this battle defeated and broken.’…”  (They may threaten Israel, but Psalm 121 states: I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.  My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.  He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.  Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.  The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.  The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.   The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.  The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.  Notice especially verse 4 – Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.  During his confrontation with the prophets of Baal, Elijah mocked the prophets after they were unable to get a response from Baal.  I Kings 18:27 states: And it came to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked them, and said, Cry aloud: for he is a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked.  God does not sleep, and He will preserve Israel.)

Chairman Abbas: ‘We will not allow another Nakba’

February 12, 2024 — Israel National News reports: “Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas met on Monday in Doha with the Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

WAFA, the Palestinian Authority news agency stated that the two discussed the latest developments in the situation in the Palestinian territories and the Gaza Strip, ‘which is subjected to a war of extermination from the Israeli killing machine.’

Abbas warned against the consequences of an Israeli offensive in Rafah and called on the international community, especially the US, to force Israel to stop the war.

‘If carried out, an attack on Rafah will lead to a humanitarian catastrophe and hideous massacres aimed at displacing the Palestinian people from their land and homeland, in a repetition of the Nakba of 1948 and 1967, we will not allow for them to happen again, no matter what happens.’

Regarding the day after the war, Abbas said that a diplomatic solution must be found based on legitimate international resolutions and the Arab peace initiative which will end the ‘occupation’ and establish a Palestinian state whose capital is eastern Jerusalem within the 1967 borders…”  (Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?  The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.  He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.  Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.  Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.  I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.  Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.  Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.  Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.  Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.  Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Abbas: PA will take charge of Gaza to prevent ‘second Nakba’ for Palestinians

February 16, 2024 — The Jerusalem Post reports: “Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas reaffirmed the PA’s responsibility for the future of the Gaza Strip in an interview with Asharq Al-Awsat on Thursday. Abbas stated that the political body would be ready to act upon an official end to fighting in Gaza.

Abbas said that the PA would be ready to act on their duties following the ‘cessation of aggression against [their] people.’

Abbas claims that the PA has been responsible for Gaza and emphasized the need to work with partners in the Arab world, within the Middle East, and other international actors to avoid future escalation and harm to Palestinians…

According to him, the Palestinian population is on its way to a ‘second Nakba,’ stating, ‘The creation of an independent Palestinian state with east Jerusalem as its capital is a national necessity. We act resolutely with the help of the countries of the world and strive for full international recognition. At the same time, our people will act against all attempts aimed at uprooting it from its land and will refrain from a new disaster for the Palestinian people, whether in East Jerusalem or the Gaza Strip.’

Abbas told Asharq Al-Awsat that destabilization of the region during ongoing tension could have major consequences…” 

Iran Cheers 45th Anniversary of Islamic Revolution with Promises of ‘Death to America’ and ‘Death to Israel’

February 12, 2024 — Breitbart.com reports: “The 45th anniversary of Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution was celebrated Sunday amid the backdrop of tumult across the Middle East sparked by the Hamas Oct. 7 terrorist attack on Israel.

General Mohammad Salami, commander of the powerful Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps,  was amongst those leading the calls for the destruction of the U.S. and Israel which the regime has blamed along with ‘Britain and many European countries as well as their stooges […] complicit in the Zionist regime’s criminal acts against the Palestinian people.’

AP reports thousands of Iranians marched through major streets and squares decorated with flags, balloons, and banners with revolutionary and religious slogans.

In Tehran, crowds waved Iranian flags, chanted slogans, and carried placards with the traditional ‘Death to America’ and ‘Death to Israel’ written on them…”  (Iran will be blotted out when Russia, China, and Islamic nations fight Israel and her allies during Armageddon – Revelation 16:16.  The battle is described in Ezekiel 39:1 – 5: …thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:  And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel: And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.
