Report: Iran ‘Postpones’ 3rd Attack on Israel in Hope of Deal with Trump

November 14, 2024Breitbart.com reports: “Iran is reportedly postponing its promised third ballistic missile attack on Israel in the hope of reaching a deal with President-elect Donald Trump, who has taken a hard line on Iran but has also expressed hope of a new agreement.

Iran attacked Israel in April with hundreds of missiles, drones, and projectiles, almost all of which were intercepted. It struck again in October with hundreds of ballistic missiles, most of which were again intercepted. The Biden-Harris administration pressured Israel not to respond in a significant way in April, but in October, Israel knocked out key parts of Iran’s missile production capacity, as well as its air defenses. Iran vowed to respond but has not yet done so.

It is not clear whether Iran has refrained for strategic reasons, or because Israel destroyed its ability to attack again.

Sky News Arabic reported Tuesday, according to Ynet, that Iran — which clearly hoped Vice President Kamala Harris would win the U.S. election — was now reconsidering, thanks to Trump’s resounding victory and imminent return…” (Iran will be blotted out when Russia, China, and Islamic nations fight Israel and her allies during Armageddon – Revelation 16:16.  The battle is described in Ezekiel 39:1 – 5: …thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:  And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel: And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand. Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured… Soon the war of wars will arrive from the North and East [Russia and China] – Daniel 11:44.  The battle is described in Ezekiel 38:1 – 5: …the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,   Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, And say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief [Russian] prince of Meshech and Tubal: [Moscow and Tubal, or Tubalsk – Southwest of the Russian capital]:  And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:  Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet.)

Ceasefire in north? Lebanon, Hezbollah agree to US proposal for ceasefire with Israel – official

November 19, 2024The Jerusalem Post reports: “Lebanon and Hezbollah have agreed to a US proposal for a ceasefire with Israel with some comments on the content, a top Lebanese official told Reuters on Monday, describing the effort as the most serious yet to end to the fighting.

Ali Hassan Khalil, an aide to Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, said Lebanon had delivered its written response to the US ambassador in Lebanon on Monday, and White House envoy Amos Hochstein was traveling to Beirut to continue talks.

There was no immediate comment from Israel.

Hezbollah, a heavily armed movement backed by Iran, endorsed its long-time ally Berri to negotiate over a ceasefire.

‘Lebanon presented its comments on the paper in a positive atmosphere,’ Khalil said, declining to give further details. ‘All the comments that we presented affirm the precise adherence to (UN) Resolution 1701 with all its provisions,’ he said…”  (God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early – Psalm 46:1 – 5.  See the next report.)

US envoy says end to Israel-Hezbollah war ‘within our grasp’

November 19, 2024Reuters reports: “A senior U.S. official said on Tuesday there was a ‘real opportunity’ to end the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah and that gaps were narrowing, signalling progress in Washington’s efforts to clinch a ceasefire agreement.

Amos Hochstein spoke in Beirut following talks with Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, a day after the Lebanese government and Iran-backed Hezbollah agreed to a U.S. ceasefire proposal, albeit with some comments on the content.

‘I came back because we have a real opportunity to bring this conflict to an end,’ Hochstein said at a press conference after the meeting.

‘This is a moment of decision-making. I am here in Beirut to facilitate that decision but it’s ultimately the decision of the parties to reach a conclusion to this conflict,’ he added.

‘It is now within our grasp… As the window is now, I hope the coming days yield a resolute decision,’ he said…”

Iran’s Ayatollah Ali Khamenei Warns Israel, U.S. of ‘Teeth-Breaking’ Attack

November 4, 2024Breitbart.com reports: “Israel and the U.S. will endure ‘teeth-breaking’ retaliation after Israeli forces struck Iran military sites in late October, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said Saturday.

‘The enemies, both the U.S. and the Zionist regime, should know that they will definitely receive a teeth-breaking response for what they are doing against Iran and the resistance front,’ Khamenei said while addressing a student group, UPI reports.

‘We are certainly doing everything necessary to prepare the Iranian nation to stand against arrogance, whether in terms of military readiness, armaments or political actions.’

The commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) terrorist organization, Major General Hossein Salami, similarly proclaimed Iran’s response to the attack ‘will surpass all expectations,’ continuing a long line of threats against the Jewish state…”  (Iran has a long history of calling for the destruction of Israel  It will never happen.  Almighty God has stated: …I will give them [Israel] an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off – Isaiah 56:5.  Everlasting means everlasting.  God promised to Abraham in Genesis 22:17: …in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the starts of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore…    And because he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought thee out in his sight with his mighty power out of Egypt; To drive out nations from before thee greater and mightier than thou art, to bring thee in, to give thee their land for an inheritance, as it is this day.  Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the Lord he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.  Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, for ever – Deuteronomy 4:37 – 40.  See the next report.)

ICC issues arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant over alleged Gaza war crimes

November 21, 2024YnetNews.com reports: “The International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued arrest warrants for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former defense minister Yoav Gallant for alleged war crimes committed during the ongoing Gaza war, the court said in a statement Thursday.

The warrants were issued after the ICC’s pre-trial chamber unanimously rejected Israel’s challenges to the court’s jurisdiction and its request to halt proceedings with the prosecution’s applications for arrest warrants submitted earlier this year

The tribunal claimed there are ‘reasonable grounds to believe’ that Netanyahu and Gallant bear criminal responsibility for crimes including ‘the war crime of starvation as a method of warfare’ and ‘crimes against humanity, including murder, persecution, and other inhumane acts’ targeting Gaza’s civilian population.

The ICC accused the two leaders of deliberately depriving Gaza’s civilian population of essential goods, including food, water, electricity and medical supplies, resulting in significant suffering. According to the court, these actions were part of a ‘widespread and systematic attack’ against civilians in Gaza and were carried out in violation of international humanitarian law…”  (Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God: defend me from them that rise up against me.  Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men.  For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul: the mighty are gathered against me; not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O Lord.  They run and prepare themselves without my fault: awake to help me, and behold.  Thou therefore, O Lord God of hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the heathen: be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah.  They return at evening: they make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.  Behold, they belch out with their mouth: swords are in their lips: for who, say they, doth hear?  But thou, O Lord, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.  Because of his strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defence.  The God of my mercy shall prevent me: God shall let me see my desire upon mine enemies.  Slay them not, lest my people forget: scatter them by thy power; and bring them down, O Lord our shield.  For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.  Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they may not be: and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah.  And at evening let them return; and let them make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.  Let them wander up and down for meat, and grudge if they be not satisfied.  But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.  Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy. – Psalm 59:1-17;  Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.  Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.  For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth.  For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.  But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.  The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.  The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.  The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.  Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.  A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.  For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the Lord upholdeth the righteous.  The Lord knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever. – Psalm 37:7-18;  Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?  The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,  Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.  He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.  Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. – Psalm 2:1-5.  See the next two reports.)

Human Rights Watch accuses Israel of war crimes, ethnic cleansing

November 14, 2024Voice of America News reports: “While fighting continued in Gaza and Lebanon on Thursday, Human Rights Watch issued a report accusing Israel of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The report said Israeli officials who have repeatedly displaced and relocated civilians are ‘committing the war crime of forcible transfer,’ and the actions ‘appear to also meet the definition of ethnic cleansing’ in the areas where Palestinians will not be able to return.

‘Human Rights Watch found that forced displacement has been widespread, and the evidence shows it has been systematic and part of a state policy. Such acts also constitute crimes against humanity,’ the report said.

There was no immediate comment from the Israeli military or foreign ministry, but Israeli authorities have previously said their military actions are in compliance with international laws.

The law of armed conflict forbids the forcible displacement of civilian populations from occupied territory, unless necessary for the security of civilians or imperative military reasons.

Israel has said the displacement is necessary to keep civilians safe from fighting or to achieve military objectives…”

November 12, 2024The Jerusalem Post reports: “Saudi Arabia’s crown prince and de facto ruler condemned what he called the ‘genocide’ committed by Israel against Palestinians during a speech at a summit of leaders of Muslim and Arab countries in Riyadh on Monday.

‘The Kingdom renews its condemnation and categorical rejection of the genocide committed by Israel against the brotherly Palestinian people,’ Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said at an Arab Islamic summit, echoing comments by Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud late last month.

He urged the international community to stop Israel from attacking Iran and to respect Iran’s sovereignty.

The crown prince said in September the kingdom would not recognize Israel unless a Palestinian state were created…”
