Jordanian TV: ‘Shatter Might of Israel,’ Conquer Jerusalem

Israel National News reports: “Jordanian state television aired a sermon by cleric Ghaleb Rabab’a, in which he declares that the Arabs will conquer Jerusalem and ‘shatter the might of Israel,’ The Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) exposed.

‘The (Jordanian) army is invincible,’ he says. ‘Its units are filled with people who pray with imams, and with people who memorized the Koran.’

‘This army will never be defeated, Allah willing. Jerusalem will be regained, Allah willing, by the modest and pure hands which hold the Koran high and recite it day and night. This is an army that bows before none but Allah.’

‘Today we must take pride in our country and its army, which descends from the Prophet Muhammad,’ he continued. ‘Indeed, my brothers in faith, things will happen, but the arrogance of the Jew will be defeated, Allah willing. This army, my brothers in faith, will shatter the might of Israel, Allah willing…’…” (Jerusalem captured by Jews in the Six Day War, June 5 – 10, 1967, will face another battle as the majority of the nations march against Jerusalem – Zechariah 14:2 – and lose the capital of Judaism. Islamic Jihad: Abduct more Israelis

YnetNews.com reports: “Islamic leaders in the Gaza Strip called for the kidnapping of Israelis and use them as bargaining chips to secure the freedom of thousands of Palestinians prisoners held in Israeli jails.

Human rights groups say Palestinian prisoners have joined an open-ended hunger strike to protest against jail conditions and thousands of Palestinians staged a rally in the Gaza Strip to support their cause.

‘We should work hard to get (Israeli) prisoners in our hands in order to secure the freedom of our prisoners,’ Khaled Al-Batsh, a senior member of the Islamic Jihad, told the crowd.

‘I say to all armed factions, the way to free the prisoners is through swaps … An arrest for an arrest, and freedom for freedom. CBS’s Ben Stein Warns of Second Holocaust

Israel National News reports: “In light of the Passover holiday, CBS’s Ben Stein warned that the Jewish people must heed the lessons of history in order to prevent another Holocaust from befalling it.

Commander: Iran Will Change Enemies’ Equations with ‘Persian Gulf’ Missile

The Fars News Agency reports: “Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi underlined Iran’s high defensive capabilities and power, and said a newly developed missile called ‘Khalij-e Fars’ (Persian Gulf) will make the enemies change their equations and calculations due to its unusual and unique features.

‘The Khalij-e Fars missile has been developed somehow different from the usual trend and can change the equations on which the enemy most relies,’ Fadavi said.

Referring to Iran’s missile power, he said that the Islamic Republic of Iran is now in possession of home-made missiles with the range of over 200km which can be mounted on Iranian high-speed boats.

Khamenei: No Fleet of Warships Able to Confront Iran in Persian Gulf

The Fars News Agency reports: “A senior Iranian analyst and researcher praised the Iranian Navy for its might and power in safeguarding the country’s security, and underscored that no country with even the most powerful fleets of warships can stand against Iran in the Persian Gulf.

‘Given the fact that the Persian Gulf, unlike oceans, is limited in width and area and Iran has a highly functional and efficient power which is suitable for this region, huge fleets of warships are not able to confront Iran and they will be vulnerable,’ Head of the Sadra Islamic Philosophy Research Institute (Hekmat Sadra Foundation) Ayatollah Seyed Mohammad Khamenei told FNA.

He reiterated that the power balance between the two sides of a war should not merely be evaluated on the basis of the number of war tools and equipment or their quality, preciseness and speed, but other factors and parameters are also important.

Khamenei described the high morale of the Iranian forces as a winning card for the Iranian side in any war, and said the US forces deployed in the region are tired and depressed and cannot be counted on for fighting in a serious war…”

Prominent Researcher Stresses 2,500-Year Old Iranian Identity of Persian Gulf

The Fars News Agency reports: “A prominent Iranian scientific and research figure stressed the Iranian identity of the Persian Gulf, and stated that the sea has been under Iran’s sovereignty for, at least, over 2,500 years.

‘The Persian Gulf is a complete example of a historical gulf and has been under the sovereignty of Iran and Iranian governments for, at least, 2,500 years,’ Head of Sadra Islamic Philosophy Research Institute (Hekmat Sadra Foundation) Ayatollah Seyed Mohammad Khamenei told FNA.

‘Even, it has been the history (its Abinitio and ipsofacto), and not the Iranian people or government, which has put the name of the Persian Gulf on this sea. This is a crystal clear fact for historians and international lawyers,’ Khamenei added.

While historical documents show that the waterway has always been referred to as the ‘Persian Gulf’, certain Arab states have recently mounted efforts to remove ‘Persian’ from the name of the waterway.

Syria boosts fears of Sunni-Shiite war

Muslim Brotherhood official: Egypt’s peace deal with Israel must be changed

Haaretz reports: “Egypt’s peace treaty with Israel is not set in stone and is susceptible to change, a top Muslim Brotherhood official said, indicating that Cairo would seek to allow more security forces in the Sinai than current agreements with Jerusalem permit.

The comment, made by Waleed al-Haddad, a member of the Brotherhood’s Freedom and Justice Party’s (FJP) Foreign Relations Committee during an official visit to Poland, came amid growing concerns of security in the desert peninsula.
