Beijing tells US not to use Ukraine to ‘smear’ or pressure China

April 22, 2022 — SpaceWar.com reports: “Beijing’s defense minister told his US counterpart Wednesday not to ‘use the Ukraine issue to smear, frame, threaten or pressure China’, following criticism of its perceived backing of Russia’s invasion.

Minister of Defense Wei Fenghe’s comments came days after a senior US senator said China must pay a greater price for backing Moscow.

China has not condemned the invasion of Ukraine, and has defended its stance on the conflict, while the United States has warned Beijing’s unwillingness to sanction Russia could affect its relations with other economies.

In a phone call with Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin on Wednesday, Wei asked the United States to ‘stop conducting military provocations at sea, and not to use the Ukraine issue to smear, frame, threaten or pressure China’, according to a defense ministry statement.

Wei also reiterated Beijing’s position on Taiwan, warning that if the ‘issue’ was not handled properly, it would have a ‘destabilising impact’ on US-China ties…”  (A March 19, 2021 article in The New York TimesTense Talks With China Left U.S. ‘Cleareyed’ About Beijing’s Intentions, Officials Say https://www.nytimes.com/2021/03/19/world/asia/china-us-alaska.html states: “Just as Washington’s views on China have shifted after years of encouraging the country’s economic integration, so have Beijing’s perceptions of the United States and the privileged place in the world that it has long held. The Americans, in their view, no longer have an overwhelming reservoir of global influence, nor the power to wield it against China.

That has made China more confident in pursuing its aims openly and unabashedly — from human rights issues in Hong Kong and Xinjiang to territorial disputes with India and Japan and others in the South China Sea to, most contentiously of all, the fate of Taiwan, the self-governing democracy that China claims as its own.

While China still faces enormous challenges at home and around the world, its leaders now act as if history is on their side.”

China will become a basic partner with Russia for the rapidly approaching battle of Armageddon – Revelation 16:16. Russia will lead invasion number one – Ezekiel 38 & 39. China will lead invasion number two – Revelation 16:12; Revelation 9:14 – 16. Then all nations will come against Jerusalem for the final invasion at which point Jesus will return to stop the bloodshed and set up his eternal kingdom upon earth – [He gathers] all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken… Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south – Zechariah 14:2 – 4. Then Psalm 2:6 occurs as God the Father says: …I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion [Jerusalem].  See the next three reports.)

April 20, 2022 — Voice of America News reports: “The prime minister of the Solomon Islands, Manasseh Sogavare, has told parliament that a wide-ranging security pact it has signed with China will not undermine peace and stability in the region. However, the United States, Japan, New Zealand and Australia have expressed concern.

The archipelago is 2,000 kms northeast of Australia…”

U.S. denounces China, Solomon Islands pact

April 21, 2022 — SpaceWar.com reports: “The United States on Wednesday criticized a new security pact between China and the Solomon Islands, describing it as shadowy.

The deal, announced Tuesday by Beijing, had faced opposition from the United States and Australia, which fear the pact could lead to China gaining a military foothold in the South Pacific.

The text of the agreement has not been made public, but it was signed days before a high-level US delegation was due to arrive in the Pacific archipelago to urge it not to sign the accord.

‘We are concerned by the lack of transparency and unspecified nature of this agreement, which follows a pattern of (China) offering shadowy, vague deals with little regional consultation in fishing, resource management, development assistance, and now security practices,’ a State Department official told AFP.

‘The agreement has been moving forward for some time. The reported signing does not change our concerns.’…”

April 1, 2022 — Breitbart.com reports: “Chinese dictator Xi Jinping praised the ‘sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity’ of Afghanistan in a message to a foreign ministers’ meeting featuring a Taliban representative on Thursday, encouraging neighboring countries to ‘do their best’ to support the ‘Afghan people.’

No state actor has yet recognized the Taliban jihadist organization as the formal government of Afghanistan, but China has referred to the group as an ‘interim’ or ‘caretaker’ government and encouraged cooperation with it on alleged humanitarian grounds. Chinese officials have encouraged business leaders to invest in Afghanistan and America, specifically, to fund the success of the Taliban…”

Zelensky: World needs to be prepared for Russian nuclear attack

April 18, 2022 — Israel National News reports: “Ukraine’s president warned that Russia might use chemical or even nuclear weapons, urging world leaders to prepare for such contingencies.

Speaking with CNN in an interview aired Sunday, President Volodymyr Zelensky said the potential use of chemical or nuclear weapons posed a threat to the entire planet, and urged foreign powers to prepare anti-radiation medicine and air raid shelters.

‘Not only me – all of the world, all of the countries have to be worried because it can be not real information, but it can be truth,’ Zelensky said.

Chemical weapons, they should do it, they could do it, for them the life of the people, nothing. That’s why. We should think not be afraid, not be afraid but be ready. But that is not a question for Ukraine, not only for Ukraine but for all the world, I think.’

Despite his concerns, Zelensky expressed confidence that his country would ultimately prevail against Russia…”  (A huge nuclear war is prophesied multiplied times in God’s Word.  Revelation 9:14 – 18 depicts Armageddon: Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.  And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.  And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.  And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.  And Revelation 16:16 tells of the longest and final battle of the ages.  See the next two reports.)

Russia warns of Baltic nuclear deployment if NATO admits Sweden and Finland

April 14, 2022 — The Jerusalem Post reports: “One of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s closest allies warned NATO on Thursday that if Sweden and Finland joined the U.S.-led military alliance then Russia would have to bolster its defenses in the region, including by deploying nuclear weapons.

Finland, which shares a 1,300-km (810-mile) border with Russia, and Sweden are mulling whether or not to join the NATO alliance. Finland will make a decision in the next few weeks, Prime Minister Sanna Marin said on Wednesday.

Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council, said that should Sweden and Finland join NATO then Russia would have to strengthen its land, naval and air forces in the Baltic Sea to restore military balance.

Medvedev also explicitly raised the nuclear threat by saying that there could be no more talk of a ‘nuclear free’ Baltic – where Russia has its Kaliningrad exclave sandwiched between Poland and Lithuania…”

Russia ‘would deploy nuclear arms’ near Finland, Sweden if join NATO

April 15, 2022 — SpaceWar.com reports: “Former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev warned Thursday that Russia would deploy nuclear weapons close to the Baltic States and Scandinavia if Finland or Sweden decide to join NATO.

Medvedev, deputy chairman of Russia’s security council and president from 2008 to 2012, wrote on Telegram that if the countries joined, this would more than double Russia’s land border with NATO members.

‘Naturally, we will have to reinforce these borders,’ he said.

‘In this case, it would not be possible to talk any more about the Baltic non-nuclear status. The balance has to be restored,’ he said, indicating that Russia would be entitled to deploy nuclear weapons in the region.

The former president said Russia would ‘seriously reinforce its group of ground forces and air defences and deploy significant naval forces in the Gulf of Finland.’

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, asked about the comments by journalists, said that ‘this has been talked about many times’ and President Vladimir Putin has issued an order on ‘reinforcing our western flank’ due to NATO’s growing military potential…”

North Korea boasts of ‘invincible power’ ahead of key military anniversary

April 25, 2022 — SpaceWar.com reports: “North Korea’s state media boasted Sunday that its armed forces had ‘gained invincible power’ under leader Kim Jong Un as it prepares for a major army holiday that analysts say could be marked with a military parade or major weapons test.

North Korea on Monday celebrates the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army and the nuclear-armed country has staged military parades in the past to mark key holidays.

Pyongyang has carried out more than a dozen weapons tests this year, including firing an intercontinental ballistic missile at full range for the first time since 2017.

A report by the North’s official Korean Central News Agency listed the history of the country’s military achievements, from its battles against the United States in the 1950-53 Korean War to smaller conflicts…” (China and North Korea are prophesied to be top contenders and bloody warriors during the battle of Armageddon – Revelation 16:16. Revelation 16:12 pictures Kings coming to the Middle East, primarily China and North Korea to slay a third-part of mankind in atomic warfare. Revelation 9:14 – 18 the Oriental nations from the East join with Russia – the leader from the North – Daniel 11:44 – for the most horrendous war in history.)

Kim’s sister says North Korea nukes could ‘eliminate’ South

April 5, 2022 — SpaceWar.com reports: “North Korea will use its nuclear weapons to ‘eliminate’ South Korea’s army in the event they launch a pre-emptive strike, the powerful sister of leader Kim Jong Un said Tuesday.

Kim Yo Jong’s warning, carried in state media, was her second angry retort in three days to comments made by South Korea’s defence chief Suh Wook last week.

They come as North Korea has resumed its sanctions-breaking weapons tests with an unprecedented blitz this year, last month firing its first intercontinental ballistic missile at full range since 2017.

Suh had said Friday that South Korea’s military had missiles with ‘the ability to accurately and quickly hit any target in North Korea when there are clear signs of North’s missile launch’.

In response, Kim Yo Jong said it was a ‘very big mistake’ for ‘lunatic’ Suh to have discussed a pre-emptive strike against a nuclear power, according to the report in KCNA.

‘In case South Korea opts for military confrontation with us, our nuclear combat force will have to inevitably carry out its duty,’ said Kim Yo Jong, who is a key policy advisor in Pyongyang.

She said the ‘primary mission’ for her country’s nuclear forces was to act as a deterrent, but if an armed conflict were to break out, such weapons will be used for ‘eliminating the enemy’s armed forces at a strike’.

As a result of this ‘dreadful attack’, South Korean forces will face a ‘miserable fate little short of total destruction and ruin’, she said.

‘We do not regard (them) as (a) match for our armed forces,’ she said, referring to South Korea’s military…” (Kim Jong-un, and now his sister, are following in the footsteps of their father Kim Jong-il and grandfather Kim il-sung in seeking nuclear weapons.  In 1993, President Bill Clinton spoke in South Korea and stated that if North Korea gained and used a nuclear weapon, the U.S. would quickly and overwhelming retaliate, and it would mean the end of their country as they know it.  President George W. Bush named North Korea as one of the three-part ‘axis of evil’ along with Iran and Iraq in 2002.  In 2014, President Barack Obama warned North Korea that the U.S. would not hesitate to use military might to defend our allies against this ‘pariah state’.  And in August 2017, President Donald Trump stated: “North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States.  They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen.”  It is believed that North Korea developed nuclear weapons in 2004.  See the next report.)

North Korea tests new guided weapons system

April 18, 2022 — Israel National News reports: “North Korean leader Kim Jong Un supervised the test-firing of a new guided weapons system to improve the country’s ‘tactical nukes’, AFP reported Sunday, citing state media.

The launch was the latest in an unprecedented blitz of sanctions-busting weapons-tests this year, which included firing an intercontinental ballistic missile at full range for the first time since 2017.

The launch also comes just ahead of US-South Korea military training exercises that are due to begin on Monday and which outrage Pyongyang.

The ‘new-type tactical guided weapon… is of great significance in drastically improving the firepower of the frontline long-range artillery units and enhancing the efficiency in the operation of tactical nukes,’ the North’s official KCNA news agency reported.

It said the test was successful, but did not specify when or where it took place…”
