Deputy Foreign Minister: Russia Not Ruling Out Deploying Nukes Against NATO

July 19, 2024Breitbart.com reports: “Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov suggested in an interview on Wednesday that his country could pursue new nuclear weapons deployments in response to the stationing of American long-range missiles and hypersonic weapons in Germany…

Ryabkov was speaking to the Interfax news agency on Thursday and responding to the July 10 announcement that America would increase its arsenal of weapons in Germany.

‘I’m not ruling out any options,’ he said, according to a translation by the Moscow Times, reportedly a suggestion that more nuclear deployments were possible to ensure Russia has the ‘widest possible optionality.’

‘Considering the combined capabilities of NATO member countries, we must calibrate our responses without any internal checks in terms of what, where and when to deploy,’ he asserted…”  (Nuclear war is coming – Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. This conflict called Armageddon is described in Revelation 9:14 – 18.  See the next report.)

Kremlin warns Russia could target Europe if US deploys missiles

July 14, 2024SpaceWar.com reports: “The Kremlin on Saturday warned that the deployment of US missiles in Germany could make European capitals targets for Russian missiles in a repeat of Cold War-style confrontation.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov spoke of a ‘paradox’ in which ‘Europe is a target for our missiles, our country is a target for US missiles in Europe’.

‘We have enough capacity to contain these missiles but the potential victims are the capitals of these countries,’ he said, speaking to Russian state television channel Russia 1.

Peskov also hinted that such a confrontation could undermine Europe as a whole — in the same way that the Cold War ended with the Soviet Union’s collapse.

‘Europe is coming apart. Europe is not living its best moment. In a different configuration, a repeat of history is inevitable,’ he said…”

U.S. Military Intercepts Chinese and Russian Bombers Ahead of Biden Speech

July 25, 2024PJMedia.com reports: “North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) announced that the U.S. military intercepted two Russian and two Chinese bombers in the Alaska Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) on Wednesday ahead of Joe Biden’s speech.

According to the U.S. Army, the Tupolev Tu-95 ‘Bear’ is a ‘large, four-engine turboprop-powered strategic bomber and missile platform.’ The Xian H-6 (Hōng-6) is ‘a license-built version of the Soviet Tupolev Tu-16 twin-engine jet bomber, built for China’s People’s Liberation Army Air Force.’

According to NORAD, ‘An ADIZ begins where sovereign airspace ends and is a defined stretch of international airspace that requires the ready identification of all aircraft in the interest of national security.’…”

China, Russia conduct joint Pacific military patrol

July 16, 2024SpaceWar.com reports: “China and Russia conducted a joint naval patrol in the northern and western Pacific, Beijing’s defence ministry said Sunday, adding that the exercise was not ‘targeted’ at any other nation.

The two countries have drawn closer in recent years and tout their friendship as having ‘no limits’. Both share hostile relations with US-led Western defence alliance NATO.

Beijing has further strengthened its diplomatic, economic and military ties with Moscow since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

China, which has never condemned the invasion, maintains it is a neutral party to the conflict. But Western leaders have criticised it for giving political and economic support to Russia, including trade in goods that have both civilian and military uses.

‘According to the annual plan and the consensus between China and Russia, naval vessels of China and Russia recently carried out their fourth joint maritime patrol in the western and northern Pacific Ocean,’ the Chinese defence ministry said in a statement on Sunday.

‘This operation is not targeted at any third party and has nothing to do with the current international and regional situation,’ it added…”  (China will become a basic partner with Russia for the rapidly approaching battle of Armageddon – Revelation 16:16. Russia will lead invasion number one – Ezekiel 38 & 39. China will lead invasion number two – Revelation 16:12; Revelation 9:14 – 16. Then all nations will come against Jerusalem for the final invasion at which point Jesus will return to stop the bloodshed and set up his eternal kingdom upon earth – [He gathers] all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken… Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south – Zechariah 14:2 – 4. Then Psalm 2:6 occurs as God the Father says: …I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion [Jerusalem].  See the next two reports)

China says it’s conducting joint military drills with Russia

July 12, 2024Voice of America News reports: “China said Friday it was conducting joint military drills with Russia along its southern coast, after a U.S.-led Western defense alliance met in Washington and Japan warned of a growing threat from Beijing’s strong ties with Moscow.

China’s defense ministry said the two militaries had begun the exercises, called Joint Sea-2024, in ‘early July’ and they would last until the middle of this month.

The drills in the waters and airspace around Zhanjiang, a city in southern Guangdong province, are ‘to demonstrate the resolve and capabilities of the two sides in jointly addressing maritime security threats and preserving global and regional peace and stability,’ the ministry said.

It added that the exercises ‘will further deepen China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination for the new era.’

They were taking place in accordance with Beijing and Moscow’s annual plan for military engagement, according to the ministry.

The announcement came in the same week that NATO leaders convened in Washington to reaffirm support for Ukraine amid Russia’s invasion…”

Russia, China taking space into dangerous territory, US says

July 18, 2024Voice of America News reports: “Russia and China are edging ever closer to unleashing space-based weapons, a decision that could have far-reaching implications for America’s ability to defend itself, U.S. military and intelligence agencies warn.

Adding to the concern, they say, is what appears to be a growing willingness by both countries to set aside long-running suspicions and animosity in order to gain an edge over the United States.

‘I would highlight … the increasing amount in intent to use counterspace capabilities,’ said Lieutenant General Jeff Kruse, director of the Defense Intelligence Agency.

‘Both Russia and China view the use of space early on, even ahead of conflict, as important capabilities to deter or to compel behaviors,’ Kruse told the annual Aspen Security Forum on Wednesday. ‘We just need to be ready.’

Concerns about the safety of space surged earlier this year when House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner called for the declassification of ‘all information’ related to what was described as a new Russian anti-satellite capability involving nuclear weapons…”

Putin, Xi vie for influence at Central Asian summit

July 3, 2024SpaceWar.com reports: “The leaders of Russia and China were in Kazakhstan on Wednesday for a regional summit, seeking to harden anti-Western alliances and press their influence in the strategic Central Asian region.

Russian President Vladimir Putin touched down in the Kazakh capital of Astana Wednesday morning for a meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) — a Beijing-led regional bloc that covers Central Asia, India and Iran.

Moscow and Beijing have deepened their political, military and economic ties since Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

Alongside Chinese leader Xi Jinping, who arrived in Kazakhstan on Tuesday, the pair see the SCO as a key forum for advancing their strategic interests across Eurasia.

‘We attach great importance to partnership cooperation within this organisation,’ Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov told Russian state media outlets ahead of Putin’s arrival.

‘We believe that the SCO, as well as the second major association of BRICS, are the main pillars of the new world order, a locomotive in the context of establishing genuine multilateralism in world affairs,’ he added.

Both Russia and China have railed against what they call a US-led ‘hegemony’ on the world stage…”  (Ezekiel 38:5 predicts that Russia, the Orient, and Persia [which changed its name to Iran in 1932] will see millions destroyed through atomic warfare in the Latter Years and Latter Days – Ezekiel 38:8, 16.  This battle is described in Revelation 9:14 – 18: Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. Deepening Russia-North Korea ties test US-South Korea deterrence strategy

July 2, 2024Voice of America News reports: “The United States’ commitment to providing extended deterrence to South Korea is being put to the test, with some South Korean politicians publicly questioning the effectiveness of the U.S. nuclear umbrella after Russia and North Korea reached a new defense pact.

Debate over the U.S. extended deterrence was sparked by Representative Na Kyung Won, a five-term lawmaker of South Korea’s ruling People Power Party, who is running for the party leadership.

‘The deterrence under the solid South Korea-U.S. alliance is currently working, but it does not guarantee the capacity to respond to the future changes in the security environment,’ Na said in a social media post last week.

‘The international situation, such as cooperation between North Korea and Russia, is adding uncertainty to the security of South Korea,’ she added, referring to the stronger military ties between Russia and North Korea, bolstered by the comprehensive strategic partnership treaty signed by Russia’s President Vladmir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Pyongyang last month.

The new treaty mandates Russia and North Korea to immediately assist each other militarily if either of them is attacked by a third country. The prospect of quasi-automatic Russian involvement in any future war between the two Koreas is now causing alarm in Seoul…”

North Korea’s Kim hosts Russia military delegation after Putin visit

July 19, 2024SpaceWar.com reports: “North Korean leader Kim Jong Un hosted a Russian military delegation led by Vice Defence Minister Aleksey Krivoruchko to discuss the ‘importance and necessity’ of bilateral defence cooperation, state media said Friday.

Thursday’s meeting in Pyongyang came roughly a month after Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to the North Korean capital, during which the two countries signed a mutual defence agreement that raised hackles in Seoul and Washington.

North Korea and Russia have been allies since the North’s founding after World War II and have drawn even closer since Moscow’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine.

Kim emphasised the need for the countries’ armies to ‘get united more firmly to dynamically lead the DPRK-Russia relations in the new era and play an important part in defending regional and global peace,’ the official Korean Central News Agency reported.

The United States and its allies have accused North Korea of providing ammunition and missiles to Russia for its war in Ukraine, and the treaty has fuelled concerns of more deliveries.

After leaving Pyongyang, Putin further fanned the flames by saying he ‘does not rule out’ sending weapons to North Korea…”

World’s largest naval exercise sends message to China

July 1, 2024Voice of America News reports: “The United States and 28 partner nations have begun the world’s largest naval war exercise off the shores of Hawaii, known as the Rim of the Pacific, or RIMPAC.

This year’s exercise brings international cooperation on a scale like no other: 40 surface ships, more than 150 aircraft, three submarines and 25,000 people.

Nations from around the globe are practicing a wide range of missions, from natural disaster response to attack skills needed for war. While most participants arhe nations with Pacific coastlines, this year’s RIMPAC also includes non-Pacific nations, including the United Kingdom, France, Brazil and Israel.

‘Every nation in the world that has interests in the Pacific and will adhere to the same values is more than welcome to participate,’ said Chilean Navy Commodore Alberto Guerrero, RIMPAC deputy commander…”  (China is prophesied to be a top contender and bloody warrior during the battle of Armageddon – Revelation 16:16. China warns NATO with army drills on alliance’s doorstep

July 11, 2024SpaceWar.com reports: “China is staging army drills with Belarus this week at NATO’s eastern border, in a sign of escalating tensions between Beijing and the US-led defence alliance.

The joint ‘antiterrorist’ exercises on Russian ally Belarus’s soil near the Polish border come as NATO leaders gather for a summit in Washington, with the war in nearby Ukraine high on their agenda.

With relations between NATO on the one hand and China and Russia on the other at a low ebb, analysts believe that Beijing wanted to send the alliance a warning message with the timing of the drills.

Sino-Belarusian exercises have taken place before, but this is the first time since Russia invaded neighbouring Ukraine, a NATO ally, in February 2022.

The exercises began July 8 in Brest, a city right on the border with Poland, according to a statement issued on Wednesday by the Chinese defence ministry.

The statement said the manoeuvres will last until mid-July, but did not give the exact number of Chinese soldiers involved…”

China says nuclear arms talks with US halted over Taiwan weapons sales

July 17, 2024Voice of America News reports: “China said Wednesday it had suspended negotiations with the United States on nuclear non-proliferation and arms control in response to Washington’s weapons sales to Taiwan.

The U.S. and China in November held rare talks on nuclear arms control, part of a bid to ease mistrust ahead of a summit between leader Joe Biden and Xi Jinping.

Further dialogue had not been publicly announced since, with a White House official in January urging Beijing to respond ‘to some of our more substantive ideas on risk reduction.’

But China’s foreign ministry on Wednesday said recent U.S. sales of arms to self-ruled Taiwan were ‘seriously undermining the political atmosphere for continued arms control consultations between the two sides.’

‘The U.S. has… continued its arms sales to Taiwan, and taken a series of negative actions that seriously damage China’s core interests and undermine political mutual trust,’ foreign ministry spokesman Lin Jian said.

‘For this reason, China has decided to suspend negotiations with the United States on a new round of arms control and non-proliferation consultations,’ he added…”
