Report: Iran tried to acquire nuke, missile technology 32 times

October 10, 2017 — Israel National News reports: “The Iranian regime made dozens of attempts to acquire technology critical for its nuclear weapons and ballistic missile programs, Fox News reported Monday night, a possible violation of the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), better known as the Iran nuclear deal.

Fox News cited three German intelligence reports which indicated that agents working on behalf of Tehran made ‘32 procurement attempts… that definitely or with high likelihood were undertaken for the benefit of proliferation programs.’

The attempted acquisitions, aimed at technology useful for advancing Iran’s military nuclear program and efforts by the regime to manufacture effective medium-to-long-range delivery systems for a future atomic weapon, reportedly took place in 2016 – after the JCPOA took effect in January of that year. Efforts to obtain such technology are prohibited under the JCPOA.

All of the procurement attempts took place in Germany’s North Rhine-Westphalia – a state in western Germany including major population centers like Cologne, Dusseldorf, and Essen.

Hazan: Nuclear Iran is no less a threat than the Holocaust

September 25, 2017 — Israel National News reports: “MK Oren Hazan (Likud), a member of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, has demanded that the chairman of the committee convene an urgent discussion on the Iranian threat.

‘The world’s silence vis-a-vis the Iranians is reminiscent of the world’s silence in the face of North Korea’s nuclear bullying, which led to a situation in which they now have nuclear weapons that they can use at any moment – and I do not rule out that this will happen soon.

‘As far as Israel is concerned, the launching of the missile by the Iranians after President Trump’s clear words points a finger at the president of the United States, the free world, and especially Israel, and serves as a clear warning that the Iranian hourglass is running out,’ Hazan said.

‘We, as a country with a small territory, do not have the ability to absorb an atomic bomb and continue to exist. It is an existential and tangible danger to the Jewish people no less than the Holocaust. The only difference between World War II and today is that, now, we have the ability to prevent it.

‘Therefore, it is Israel’s duty to inform the entire world, and the Iranians in particular, that a state that calls for the destruction of the State of Israel and is acting accordingly will be answered accordingly. It must be clearly stated that any offensive Iranian action against Israel will be met with the destruction of Tehran, and that is what must be done‘…”

Hawaii reportedly prepares for nuclear attack amid North Korea rhetoric

September 22, 2017 — Fox News reports: “Hawaii officials have reportedly been urging residents to prepare for a nuclear attack, the stunning plea coming amid increasingly unnerving rhetoric — and actions — from North Korea.

The Washington Post reported that Hawaii officials were working to educate and prepare residents amid the growing tension between Washington and Pyongyang. The public was being told to consider prepare for a nuclear attack in a similar way that it prepares for tsunamis.

‘Now it’s time to take it seriously,’ Hawaii State Rep. Gene Ward, a Republican, said, ‘not to be an alarmist, but to be informing people.’

North Korea’s foreign minister has said the Communist nation may test a hydrogen bomb in the Pacific Ocean after dictator Kim Jong Un vowed he would take the ‘highest-level’ action against the United States, South Korean media reported Thursday…”
