U.S. says Iran missile program destabilizing Middle East

March 20, 2019  — The Jerusalem Post reports: “A senior US arms control official said on Tuesday that Iran’s missile program is destabilizing the Middle East and raising the risk of a ‘regional arms race’ through the provision of such weapons to armed groups in Lebanon and Yemen.

US President Donald Trump said when he quit a landmark 2015 deal that lifted international sanctions against Iran in exchange for limits on its nuclear activities that it failed to rein in Iran’s missile program or curb its regional meddling.

The United States has accused Iran of defying a U.N. Security Council resolution by carrying out a ballistic missile test and two satellite launches since December.

‘Iran’s missile program is a key contributor to increased tensions and destabilization in the region, increasing the risk of a regional arms race,’ Yleem Poblete, Assistant Secretary of State for Arms Control, Verification and Compliance, said in a speech to the U.N.-sponsored Conference on Disarmament.

‘Iran must immediately cease activities related to ballistic missiles designed to be capable of delivering nuclear weapons, and halt the proliferation of missiles and missile technology to terror groups and other non-state actors,’ she said, denouncing Iran’s support to the Houthi movement in Yemen and to Hezbollah in Lebanon…”  (Iran’s goal is found in Psalm 83:4: “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.”  As I have emphatically stated before – it won’t happen.  God has promised: “…I will give them [Israel] an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off” – Isaiah 56:5.)

Iran Building Two New Nuclear Plants

March 19, 2019  — The Washington Free Beacon reports: “Iranian leaders announced on Monday the construction of two new nuclear plants, and it remains unclear if the Trump administration views this as crossing a red line since its abandonment of the landmark nuclear deal, which included provisions permitting Iran to work on heavy water nuclear reactors that could provide a plutonium-based pathway to a bomb.

On the same day it announced these new nuclear reactors, which are being built in conjunction with Russia, Iran announced it would be filing papers accusing the United States of ‘crimes against humanity.’

The new nuclear moves are rattling congressional Iran hawks, who have been critical of a series of waivers issued by the Trump administration permitting Iran to continue engaging in nuclear research, including at an underground site that once housed the regime’s nuclear weapons program.

It remains unclear if the Trump administration will move to block this activity and sanction any international company that aids Iran in the construction of the new nuclear reactors…”  (Nuclear war is part of the battle of the ages – see Revelation 9:18. Iran and the Islamic nations will join Russia – Ezekiel 38 & 39. Then China, North Korea, and Oriental nations will join Russia in the second invasion of Israel – Revelation 16:12 and for the third and final invasion all nations will come against Israel – Isaiah 14:2.  See the next two reports.)

Growing suspicion: Iran to manufacture missiles in Syria

March 14, 2019  — Israel National News reports: “Suspicions that Iran is building a plant to manufacture precision missiles in Syria continue to grow.

ImageSat International has published satellite images showing the factory building in Syria, where a missile manufacturing plant is apparently being built.

This is a factory located in the city of Safita, located in north-eastern Syria. The activity that took place around it, according to the analysis of the pictures, increases the fear that this is an Iranian operation. The pictures also showed the movement of vehicles loaded with rocket launchers.

The pictures show three hangars in the factory around which there has been vigorous activity throughout the last few months…”

50 Iranian drones conduct massive ‘way to Jerusalem’ exercise

March 14, 2019  — The Jerusalem Post reports: “Iran’s Defense Ministry announced on Thursday that it had launched a massive exercise involving 50 drones that are based on a US Sentinel drone the Iranians captured in 2011. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it was the strongest exercise of its kind to date.

Named ‘Beit al-Maqdis,’ a reference to Jerusalem, the operation was attended by the commander of the IRGC, Hossein Salami, and IRGC Aerospace Force commander Amir Ali Hajizadeh. Fars News and Tasnim News both reported details of the operation, noting that, ‘for the first time, 50 Iranian drones on the RQ-170 [US Sentinel] model operated with a number of assault and combat drones.’

It was the first time, Iran says, that so many drones operated simultaneously in an ‘offensive operation’ at distances of more than 1,000 km away from each other. They trained to strike predetermined targets with ‘high precision.’ IRGC Ground Force commander Maj.-Gen. Golam Ali Rashid boasted that while the US has said Iran is failing 40 years after the Islamic Revolution, in fact ‘today we are witnessing the strongest maneuvers of the IRGC’s Aerospace Forces.’ Enemies would be ‘humiliated and feel shame,’ according to the statement…”

Top Iranian Gen.: U.S. Is ‘Defeated,’ Israel ‘Struggling to Survive,’ Saudis Awaiting Death

March 1, 2019  — Breitbart.com reports: “A deputy commander of Iran’s terror-linked Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in a recent speech boasted about waging jihad against its enemies, claiming that the United States ‘has been defeated,’ Israel is ‘struggling to survive,’ and the Sunni Saudi Arabia regime will not last, a non-profit group that monitors Middle East media reported this week.

‘America, too, is distressed today, It does not have the appearance of a world power at all – America, too, has been defeated,’ Gen. Hossein Salami, a deputy commander of the IRGC, declared after saying the Saudi regime is awaiting death.

‘The Zionist regime is struggling to survive by using psychological warfare. Our enemies have despaired. They are helpless,’ he added, referring to Shiite Iran’s mortal enemy Israel.

The Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) learned from the state-run Islamic Republic of Iran News Network (IRINN) TV that the deputy commander of the IRGC made those comments during a speech aired on February 19.

‘We are planning to break America, Israel, and their partners and allies. Our ground forces should cleanse the planet from the filth of their existence,’ the IRGC deputy commander vowed…”  (As I mentioned earlier in this briefing, Revelation 9: 14 – 18 is the prophecy describing Armageddon: “…Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.  And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.  And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.  And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.  By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.” The good news is that I dogmatically believe that this battle is fought after the Rapture: “Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth” – Revelation 3:10; “…I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter” – Revelation 4:1; “…the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord” – I Thessalonians 4:16 – 18.  Rest upon God’s Word: “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ” – Titus 2:13.  See the next report.)

Rouhani urges Iranians to ‘put all your curses on Zionists, U.S.’

March 18, 2019  — The Times of Israel reports: “Iran’s president urged Iranians Monday to put a curse on the United States, Israel and Saudi Arabia — blaming the US and its allies for his country’s ailing economy.

Monday’s televised remarks by Hassan Rouhani were meant to deflect criticism of his administration’s performance amid a spiraling economy after the Trump administration pulled out of the nuclear deal and re-imposed sanctions on Tehran last year, targeting Iran’s vital oil sector.

Rouhani urged Iranians to ‘put all your curses on those who created the current situation’ and added that ‘the United States, the Zionists’ and Saudi Arabia were to blame.

He didn’t say what kind of curses the Iranians should invoke…”
