Netanyahu says Iran strives for nuclear bomb ‘stockpile’ to destroy Israel

October 29, 2024 — SpaceWar.com reports: “Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday that Iran is seeking to develop a ‘stockpile’ of nuclear bombs aimed at destroying Israel, two days after Israel bombed military targets in the Islamic republic.

On Saturday, Israel carried out air strikes on military sites in Iran in response to Tehran’s October 1 attack, itself retaliation for the killing of Iran-backed militant leaders and a Revolutionary Guards commander.

‘Iran is striving to develop a stockpile of nuclear bombs to destroy us, equipped with long-range missiles, intercontinental missiles that Iran is trying to develop,’ Netanyahu said.

‘Iran could threaten the entire world at any point,’ Netanyahu added during a speech to lawmakers as Israel’s parliament began its winter session.

‘Stopping the Iranian nuclear programme is at the forefront of our minds, and for obvious reasons, I cannot share with you all our plans and actions in this regard.’

Report: Iran preparing to launch 1,000 ballistic missiles at Israel

October 25, 2024 — Israel National News reports: “The New York Times reported Thursday night that Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has given orders to prepare for war with Israel and to respond to Israel’s retaliation for Iran’s massive ballistic missile attack earlier this month with appropriate force.

Four Iranian officials told the newspaper that the extent of the Iranian response will depend mainly on the extent of the Israeli attacks.

According to the sources, if the Israeli attacks – in response to a barrage of missiles from Iran earlier this month – cause extensive damage and many casualties, Iran will respond with as many as 1,000 ballistic missiles against Israel, more than 5 times as many as it launched in early October in what was already the largest ballistic missile attack in history.

But if Israel limits its attack to a small number of military bases and missile depots and UAVs, Iran may not do anything…”

Iranian President: If Israel makes any mistake, Iran will respond strongly

October 24, 2024 — Israel National News reports: “Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Wednesday warned Israel that any potential act of aggression against Iran will be met with a ‘decisive and unbelievable’ response from the Islamic Republic.

‘We are not inclined towards expansion of conflict and tension in the region, and welcome any action that is in line with peace and calm. The Zionist regime’s actions, however, are being carried out with the precise aim of setting the entire region on fire,’ Pezeshkian said during a meeting with Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed on the sidelines of the meeting of the BRICS group of nations taking place in the western Russian city of Kazan.

‘If Israel makes any mistake, Iran will respond strongly. The enemy may cause us some harm, but the response it will receive and the extent of the damage it will suffer will be beyond imagination,’ he warned…”
