China, Russia must fight US ‘containment’: security chief

November 12, 2024SpaceWar.com reports: “Senior Russian official Sergei Shoigu on Tuesday told China’s foreign minister Wang Yi their two countries’ most urgent task should be countering ‘containment’ by the United States, as they met for security talks in Beijing.

Moscow and Beijing have expanded military and defence ties since Russia ordered troops into Ukraine nearly three years ago, with Chinese President Xi Jinping one of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s most important allies on the world stage.

But Beijing has also found itself increasingly stuck between a burgeoning alliance of Russia and North Korea, which has sent soldiers to Ukraine and this week ratified a landmark defence pact with Moscow.

Speaking to Wang in Beijing, Shoigu, the secretary of Russia’s Security Council, stressed the need for China and Russia to ‘counter the ‘dual containment’ policy directed against Russia and China by the United States and its satellites’.

‘The comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation (between China and Russia) represent a model of collaboration between two powers in today’s world,’ Shoigu told China’s top diplomat.

‘Although it is not a military-political alliance like those formed during the Cold War, the relations between our countries surpass this form of interstate relations,’ he said, quoted in Russian news agencies…”  (China will become a basic partner with Russia for the rapidly approaching battle of Armageddon – Revelation 16:16. Russia will lead invasion number one – Ezekiel 38 & 39. China will lead invasion number two – Revelation 16:12; Revelation 9:14 – 16. Then all nations will come against Jerusalem for the final invasion at which point Jesus will return to stop the bloodshed and set up his eternal kingdom upon earth – [He gathers] all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken… Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south – Zechariah 14:2 – 4. Then Psalm 2:6 occurs as God the Father says: …I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion [Jerusalem].)

North Korea ratifies landmark defense pact with Russia

November 13, 2024SpaceWar.com reports: “North Korea ratified a defense treaty with Russia, state media reported Tuesday, formally deepening military cooperation that has seen Pyongyang send thousands of troops to help Moscow in its war against Ukraine.

The ‘comprehensive strategic partnership’ treaty was ratified on Monday by a decree from North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, state-run Korean Central News Agency said. It was originally signed in June during a state visit to Pyongyang by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Russia earlier completed its own ratification of the pact, with Putin signing it into law on Saturday after approval by the upper house of Russian parliament last week.

‘In the event that either party is in a state of war as a result of armed aggression by individual or multiple states, the other side shall provide military and other assistance without delay by all means at its disposal in accordance with Article 51 of the U.N. Charter,’ the agreement states…”  (North Korea marches with Russia and China for the war of the latter years and latter days – Ezekiel 38:8, 16.  Atomic bombs will produce global incineration – Psalms 97:3; Isaiah 66:15; Joel 2:3, 30; Zephaniah 1:18; Malachi 4:1; Revelation 8:7 and 9:18.  See the next three reports.)

Japan expresses concern to China over Russia-North Korea ties

November 5, 2024SpaceWar.com reports: “Japan’s top national security official said he conveyed ‘serious concerns’ to China’s foreign minister over North Korea’s deepening ties with Russia after the pair held talks in Beijing.

Their meeting on Monday was four and a half hours long, according to Japanese media, which said the two also discussed a possible head-to-head between President Xi Jinping and Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba this month at a summit in Peru.

‘Regarding current events on the Korean Peninsula, cooperation between Russia and the DPRK came up as a topic of discussion,’ Takeo Akiba told reporters late Monday, using the acronym of North Korea’s official name.

‘I conveyed our country’s serious concerns about this,’ he added after the talks with Wang Yi.

The United States and its allies say they believe up to 10,000 North Korean troops are on the brink of entering combat in Ukraine from Russia’s side.

On Monday, Russian President Vladimir Putin hosted the North Korean foreign minister, who has previously said the country will stand by Russia until its ‘victory’ in Ukraine…”

US, Japan, South Korea coordinate response to North Korean threats

November 15, 2024Voice of America News reports: “U.S. President Joe Biden will meet with leaders of South Korea and Japan Friday to come up with a ‘coordinated’ response to the deployment of thousands of North Korean troops to help Moscow’s war against Ukraine and on Pyongyang’s nuclear threat more broadly, on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum in Lima, Peru.

Pyongyang’s troop deployment is a ‘significant development,’ White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan told reporters aboard Air Force One en route to Lima, Wednesday.

‘We are going to treat it with the seriousness with which it deserves to be treated,’ he said.

Sullivan said the trilateral summit will allow leaders to prepare for any potential ‘provocative’ move from Pyongyang, including nuclear testing and ballistic missile launches, as the U.S. prepares for a change of administration when Donald Trump takes office in January.

‘Transitions have historically been time periods when the DPRK has taken provocative actions,’ Sullivan said, using the abbreviation for North Korea’s formal name, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea…”

Report: China Builds ‘Prototype’ Nuclear Reactor for Aircraft Carrier

November 13, 2024Breitbart.com reports: “The California-based Middlebury Institute of International Studies published research this week that showed China has constructed a prototype nuclear reactor that could fit aboard a large surface vessel – a sign that China is making progress toward building a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier.

At the present time, only the United States and France have nuclear-powered aircraft carriers. The U.S. has 11 of them, while France has one, the flagship Charles de Gaulle.

China has three aircraft carriers, one of them an aging Russian design commissioned in 2012 as the Liaoning. The most interesting of the three ships is the Fujian, launched in 2022 and ominously named for the Chinese province opposite Taiwan.

The Fujian was domestically built and is far more advanced than the other two carriers, approaching the capabilities of America’s carriers in several key respects, although it is considerably smaller than America’s Nimitz and Gerald R. Ford-class ships. One of the Fujian’s most significant features is that it uses catapults to launch planes, as America’s carriers do, instead of the harrowing ‘ski slope’ launch ramp on the bow of China’s older carriers…” (China is prophesied to be a top contender and bloody warrior during the battle of Armageddon – Revelation 16:16. North Korea boasts about new long-range missile, calls it ‘world’s strongest’

November 1, 2024Voice of America News reports: “North Korea on Friday bragged about its recently tested new intercontinental ballistic missile, calling it ‘the world’s strongest.’ Outside experts saw the claim as propaganda, though the test did show advancement in the North’s quest to build a more reliable weapons arsenal.

A missile that North Korea launched Thursday flew higher and stayed in the air longer than any other weapon the country has so far fired. It signaled that the North has achieved progress in acquiring a nuclear-armed ICBM that can hit the U.S. mainland. But foreign experts said the country has still a few technological issues to master.

On Friday, the North’s Korean Central News Agency identified the missile as the ‘Hwasong-19’ ICBM and called it ‘the world’s strongest strategic missile’ and ‘the perfected weapon system.’

KCNA said leader Kim Jong Un observed the launch, describing it as ‘an appropriate military action’ to express North Korea’s resolve to respond to its enemies’ moves that escalated tensions and threats to North Korea’s national security. It said Kim thanked weapons scientists for demonstrating North Korea’s ‘matchless strategic nuclear attack capability.’

South Korea’s military earlier said that North Korea could have tested a solid-fuel missile, but Friday’s KCNA dispatch didn’t say what propellant the Hwasong-19 ICBM uses. Observers said the color of exhaust flames seen in North Korean media photos of the launch suggested the new ICBM uses solid fuels…”  (Kim Jong-un, his sister, and recently his daughter, Ju-ae, who appeared with him twice recently raising speculation about possible succession, are following in the footsteps of Kim Jong-il and Kim il-sung in seeking nuclear weapons.  In 1993, President Bill Clinton spoke in South Korea and stated that if North Korea gained and used a nuclear weapon, the U.S. would quickly and overwhelming retaliate, and it would mean the end of their country as they know it.  President George W. Bush named North Korea as one of the three-part ‘axis of evil’ along with Iran and Iraq in 2002.  In 2014, President Barack Obama warned North Korea that the U.S. would not hesitate to use military might to defend our allies against this ‘pariah state’.  And in August 2017, President Donald Trump stated: “North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States.  They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen.”  It is believed that North Korea developed nuclear weapons in 2004.  See the next two reports.)

North Korea says new Hwasong-19 ICBM has ‘matchless’ nuclear attack capability

November 4, 2024SpaceWar.com reports: “North Korea successfully test-fired its new Hwasong-19 intercontinental ballistic missile, state-run media reported Friday, with leader Kim Jong Un claiming the regime has secured an ‘irreversible’ means of delivering nuclear weapons.

Kim said the launch demonstrated the missile’s ‘matchless strategic nuclear attack capability before the world,’ according to a report in the official Korean Central News Agency.

The Hwasong-19, which was fired on Thursday, flew for 86 minutes and reached an altitude of 4,776 miles, KCNA said — both records for a North Korean missile.

‘The test of the latest strategic weapon system updated the recent records of the strategic missile capability of the DPRK and demonstrated the modernity and credibility of its world’s most powerful strategic deterrent,’ the KCNA report said…”

Most UN Security Council members urge North Korea to give up missiles

November 6, 2024SpaceWar.com reports: “A majority of the 15-member UN Security Council on Tuesday called on North Korea to give up its ballistic missile program and condemned its launch of an intercontinental missile last month.

‘This launch, in addition to the more than 100 ballistic missile launches since 2022 to date, is a clear violation of multiple UN Security Council resolutions, jeopardizes international peace and security and threatens to undermine the global nonproliferation regime,’ the countries said in a joint statement read out by the deputy US ambassador, Robert Wood.

Besides the United States, the statement was signed by France, Japan, Ecuador, Malta, South Korea, Sierra Leone, Slovenia, Switzerland and Britain. They were also joined by Denmark, Greece and Panama, which will become non-permanent members of the council in January.

According to the statement, in response to the ICBM launch on October 30, the United States asked the council to adopt a text declaring North Korea to be in violation of UN resolutions. This would need to be approved by all 15 members.

‘However, two council members refused to join a united denunciation,’ the statement said.

The text does not name the two countries, but the United States regularly accuses Russia and China of protecting North Korea at the United Nations…”
