The Fars News Agency reports: “Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in a meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmad Davutoglu threatened the western countries that if Syria comes under a NATO attack, it would set fire on the Middle-East, especially Israel.

‘If a crazy measure is taken against Damascus, I will need not more than 6 hours to transfer hundreds of rockets and missiles to the Golan Heights to fire them at Tel Aviv,’ Assad said after Davutoglu conveyed the United States’ warning message to him.

He also reiterated that Damascus will also call on Hezbollah in Lebanon to launch such an intensive rocket and missile attack on Israel that the Israeli spy agencies could never imagine.

‘All these events will happen in three hours, but in the second three hours, Iran will attack the US warships in the Persian Gulf and the US and European interests will be targeted simultaneously,’ Assad said…” (Syria is about to experience a massive attack that will make their capital, Damascus, a heap of rubble. Haaretz reports: “Syria’s highest Sunni Muslim clergyman, Mufti Ahmed Badereddine Hassoun, threatened to order suicide attacks in the United States and Europe if his country is attacked.

‘I am telling this to Europe and the United States: We will set up suicide attackers who now live on your land in case you bomb Syria or Lebanon,’ Hasson said in a video posted on the website of the Al Arabiya television network.

Hassoun was addressing a delegation of Lebanese women who had come to offer their condolences for his son’s death.

Hassoun’s son was killed by unknown gunmen in front of a university in Aleppo.

Earlier Syrian President Bashar Assad said Syria will strike Israel and ‘set fire’ to the Middle East if foreign forces choose to launch a military strike on the protest-ridden country, the Iranian news agency Fars reported. During a meeting with the Turkish FM, the Fars report claimed, Assad indicated that Syria would not hesitate to strike major Israeli cities if it was attacked…”

Fox News reports: “Iran has begun to mass manufacture a domestically developed cruise missile that reportedly could be used to strike Israel and potentially counter U.S. naval presence in the Persian Gulf.

The missile, called Ghader, which means capable in Farsi, has a 124-mile range and can ‘sink giant warships,’ Gen. Ahmad Vahidi, the Iranian defense minister, said in an interview on Press TV. He went on to say the missile could be launched quickly and travel at low altitudes.

The exact number of missiles produced is unclear, but they reportedly were delivered to the Revolutionary Guard’s naval division. The country often makes announcements about new advances in military technology that cannot be independently verified.

Vahidi called the manufacture of the missile a ‘great achievement’ and denied reports circulating that the missile was not produced in the country, The Jerusalem Post reported.
