Executions spiked in Iran in Saudi Arabia in 2021

May 24, 2022 — BBC.com reports: “There was a worrying rise in executions in 2021 as Covid-19 restrictions were eased, Amnesty International says, with spikes seen in Iran and Saudi Arabia.

A report by the human rights group says at least 579 executions were known to have been carried out in 18 countries – a 20% increase on the previous year.

Iran accounted for the biggest portion of this rise. It put to death at least 314 people, compared with 246 in 2020.

Saudi Arabia more than doubled its number of executions to 65.

The global total is the second-lowest figure, after 2020, that Amnesty has recorded since at least 2010.

However, as in previous years it does not include China. Although it is believed to execute thousands of people each year, the data on its use of the death penalty is a state secret.

Amnesty says secrecy also made it impossible to verify reports from North Korea and Vietnam, where an extensive number of executions is thought to have taken place…”  (Killing is rewarded in Islam.  Not only do they receive 72 virgins as righteous and martyred godly men, but what even more shocking is they get to choose 70 relatives and friends to go to heaven.  Their plan of winning the lost is a sick one and against God’s plan which is: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life – John 3:16.  See the next two reports.)

Islamic State executes 20 Christians as warning to believers

May 23, 2022 — ChristianToday.com reports: “The so-called Islamic State has released a video showing the execution of 20 men said to be Christians.

The video was released to the terrorist group’s Amaq news channel.

The BBC Monitoring service said the executioners were from the Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP) and that the captives came from Borno state in north-eastern Nigeria. 

IS called the executions a warning to ‘;Christians around the world’; and said that ‘;jihadists will be at war with them … till the end of times’;.

The video shows the men divided into three groups and shot dead by four masked militants.

After the second group is executed, one militant says, ‘;We shall not rest until we take revenge for our brothers against the Christians all over the world.’…”

‘Loyalty to Allah’ Prompts a Muslim to Murder a Christian

May 19, 2022 — PJMedia.com reports: “The Muslim murderer of a Coptic man in Egypt said he was moved to the act, not because he personally knew the Christian, but because he was inflamed with zeal, especially after reading the Koran, and because he is ‘loyal to Allah.’

In late April—a few days after another Muslim man slaughtered a Coptic Christian priest—three masked men pulled up in their vehicle near the workshop of Rani Ra’fat, a 28-year-old engineer, in the town of al-Daba in Egypt’s north-western coastal Marsa Matrouh area (near Libyan borders). Once the Copt appeared, a hail of fire was opened on him; he died on the spot, and 22 bullets were found in his body. His killers then fled the scene.

On May 13, a man claiming to be the murderer made a brief video, in which he beams a great smile and congratulates himself for his deed. He identified himself as Faisal Abdul Nasser and said that he did not know his victim but that he had heard that the Christian man, a ‘polytheist,’ was ‘involved’ with a Muslim woman, which is forbidden in Islam…”
