TYING ISRAEL’S HANDS

China: Iran’s 300 Missile and Drone Barrage on Israel ‘Restrained,’ Israel Should Not Respond

April 16, 2024Breitbart.com reports: “The communist government of China demanded Israel ‘exercise calm and restraint’ on Sunday following an unprecedented attack featuring over 300 drones and missiles on the Israeli homeland on Iran.

Beijing, one of Iran’s most prominent commercial partners and diplomatic allies, declared through its Foreign Ministry that ‘the conflict must end now’ in Gaza, where the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have been executing a self-defense operation against the Iran-backed jihadist terror organization Hamas since October.

Using its state media arms, the Chinese government also cited Chinese regime-approved ‘experts’ who claimed that the barrage was ‘restrained’ on Iran’s part and suggesting Israel was responsible for the attack on itself, and thus implied Israel has no legitimate reason to respond to the attack in an attempt to prevent further escalation…”  (Israel seems to be the only nation that is told to temper their response to brutal attacks.  Before the smoke cleared and the cries of the dying faded out on October 7, 2023, they were told not to overreact.  The same holds true after this attack by Iran – the U.S. even went so far as to tell them to “take the win” because they were able to intercept 99% of the drones and missiles that were launched at them [see the next report].  In the book of Psalms, there are several imprecatory psalms where the author calls down calamity, destruction, and God’s anger and judgment on his enemies.  One of these is Psalms 69:

Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul.  I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.  I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.  They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away…

Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.  Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.  Hear me, O Lord; for thy lovingkindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies.  And hide not thy face from thy servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily.  Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: deliver me because of mine enemies…

Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap.  Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake.  Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them.  Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents.

Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness.  Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous… Psalm 69:1-4; 14-18; 22-25; 27-28.  See the next 4 reports.)

Report: US told Israel ‘take the win’ rather than retaliate against Iran

April 14, 2024Israel National News reports: “A senior official in the Biden administration told the NBC network that US President Joe Biden told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in their telephone conversation that while the American commitment to defend Israel is an ironclad commitment, the United States will not participate in offensive actions against Iran.

According to the official, Israel should ‘take the win’ of its successful interception of 99% of the drones and missiles launched by Iran rather than retaliate…”

UN chief calls for maximum restraint after Iran’s attack on Israel

April 15, 2024The Jerusalem Post reports: “United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Sunday issued a reminder that acts of reprisal involving the use of force are barred under international law after Iran’s attack on Israel, while the US warned the Security Council it would work to hold Tehran accountable at the UN.

Guterres, speaking to a meeting of the UN Security Council, told member states that the UN charter bars the use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state as he condemned Iran’s attack on Israel and warned against further escalation.

Iran launched a swarm of explosive drones and fired missiles on Saturday in its first-ever direct attack on Israeli territory, risking a major escalation…”

European allies urge Israel against military response to Iran as war cabinet convenes

April 15, 2024The Times of Israel reports: “The United Kingdom, France and Germany urged Israel on Monday not to retaliate against Iran after its unprecedented attack on Saturday night, warning that a military response could send the Middle East spiraling into an all-out war, as Israel’s war cabinet prepared to meet to discuss its options against Tehran.

Speaking to the BBC ahead of an expected statement by British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on Monday afternoon, British Foreign Secretary David Cameron said that while the inclination to respond to the roughly 350 attack drones and missiles launched by Tehran was justified, Israel needs to ‘think with its head as well as its heart, to be smart as well as tough.’

The UK has advised Israel that it would be better off not retaliating, Cameron said, declaring that the attack was a ‘double defeat’ for Iran in that it failed to cause major damage to Israel while at the same revealing ‘to the world that [Iran is] the malign influence in the region prepared to do this.’

Although the UK is pushing Israel to show restraint and de-escalate, he noted that Israel will ultimately make its own decisions regarding how it protects its citizens…”

Iran warns Israel against ‘slightest’ response to attack as Israel pledges action

April 17, 2024SpaceWar.com reports: “President Ebrahim Raisi has warned Israel it will face a ‘painful response’ if it takes the ‘slightest action’ in response to Iran’s unprecedented drone and missile barrage at the weekend.

Iran’s first-ever direct attack on Israel, which began on Saturday, was in response to an April 1 air strike on Tehran’s consulate in Damascus which has been widely blamed on Israel.

The strike levelled the five-storey consular annexe of the Iranian embassy and killed seven Revolutionary Guards, two of them generals.

‘We firmly declare that the slightest action against Iran’s interests will definitely be met with a severe, extensive and painful response,’ Raisi said in a call late Monday with Qatar’s emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

Raisi reiterated that Iran was acting in ‘self-defence’, saying the operation targeted Israeli bases used to carry out the consulate strike, a statement from his office said…”
